Blue (not the dark blue, just "Blue").

That's what I use anyway, working on the Sunrider's now, but if I don't notice a signifigant difference, I'm going back.

btw, I agree. Linky's colors are better.

If they all had the same damage type... or if they added in a named special color for each color type.

umm, didnt every jedi have blue or green sabers? Only a handful has special colors

Think of the colors as bizarro world and everything would be fine

since i have neither, i use dark yellow. i actually carry a few with me and swap out for a color no one else in the group is useing so i can see my blade

I'd use the dark green, dark purple, or dark red...They should just make the elemental the same accross the board...its stupid to see everyone using the same 2 colors all the time due to the damage modifiers...

I would use orange...if it actually displayed orange.

There are ways that I can make it look orange on my screen, but naturally the rest of the gaming populace would still see it as yellow. I too know that saber color is the least of our concerns, but how hard is it to get the orange/brown/yellow crystals to display properly? Outside of a subtle variance in hue, they pretty much all display the same.

As such, I use Bane's Heart anyway. I'll take the extra damage, and the saber is a tone of red, so it at least has the Sith thing going for it. Sometimes I use dark blue or dark red though, however, I feel that orange is the true color of my character.

I will more than likely end up using the lava-lamp, because by all accounts it does display as being a more true orange. I'm not really a fan of this thing either, but if it will get me orange, I'll grin and bear it.

Well personally, the color doesn't matter to me because I use 3 sabers, each with a different color. I use a yellow crystal, a orange and a sunriders destiny. The sunriders is in my pvp saber (it has the best in damage, speed of all my sabers, fc is 17 though but I can manage that np). The yellow is in my group hunting saber (high force cost, high damage, average speed). The orange is in my solo pvp saber (very fast speed, average damage, extremely low fc...95 SAC).each color is in a different saber also. Yellow is double blade, orange is 1 hand and sunrider is 2 hand.

OF course I have enough pearls to have 3 sabers that are useful, but I have tuned many that are useless. So for my own personal taste, It doesn't matter because I use all color crystals anyway depending on the situation. I use my sunriders when doing high end solo PVE because I want to kill my target faster than my mind pool runs out. Haven't tried pub 24 just yet, will do in a few minutes so I'll see how the increased cost are andhow A.I. specials will change my tactics. All of that will determine if I stay with one saber over another.

anyway, I sometimes switch color crystals just when I feel like wielding a different color.....but I don't use a red because that's sith and I am not a sith...LOL
