Your going the right route. Jedi grind is by no means easy. If you want easy XP gains Jedi may not be the profession for you. Once you move up you can start doing savage quenkers. When you hit III you can start doing the trackers a bit easier. Though you may have a better time with pickets instead.
If you have sufficient scout levels i highly recommend milking pickets for spare cash. Chef's will appreciate it.

Arachne Drones and Crazed gurreks on Endor are great, Make sure you take Citros/Pikata Pie with you, if you hunt the spiders novice healer and keep yourself poision resist buffed. Spiders are around 700 xp and like the other poster said gurrkes around 650-660
borgle life sappers are just as easy as those drones and give 726 each, fierce borgles are about as easy as the life sappers and give 800 per kill (actually I think this is one that goes up depending on your level).
Just watch those arachne drones. If there's a drone and a warrior, webmaster or the other one outside a lair, you're in for a suprise when the lair hits 3k of ham. You will get either of these, Arachne Queen and 3-4 webmasters, Arachne Queen and 10 little arachnes or just 10 little arachnes. The queen is good for 826 xp and the little guys are 200 a pop. But I've never tried to take out the webmasters and queen all at once, I pull them from the lair and knock them out one at a time...

If ur not goint to the squilll cave on tatooine go there because squills are a fast way to get exp for jedi.this picture is a bothan
