Give me a break. This elitist crap being spouted over the forums that only pre-9 or pre-CU Jedi or people who have played since day 1 should get these rewards is absolutely ridiculous. If you've invested that much of yourself in something as baseless and meaningless as a game, perhaps it's time to push the keyboard and go outside. You know, with all the three dimensional people.
And, for the record, I've been playing since August of '03, a month after release.

ACtually I bet it will be like the Village quests (I'm hoping). Completed Jedi templates could still do the quests even if they had that tree already unlocked/filled.
I don't think you are going to win with the whole "vet" rewards. It's enough that only Jedi will get an unlocked slot + robes + saber/crystal + blue glowie + title. It took me 4-6 months to completely grind out Jedi after unlocking from 27 professions. I can live with the rewards being for all current Jedi. AT least it's SOMETHING, the devs could have just thumbed their noses at us and gave us nothing. Be thankful we are the only ones who are allowed a second slot. That is huge IMO, consider you can never change professions once your respecs are up. That is the single best reward and not a lot of people are taking notice of it.

Full temp != superior
Full temp just means you had more time on your hands.

Sorry but, isn't the whole point of an elder reward because...oh I dunno...maybe your an elder? They can come up with rewards for being around before the NGE, just like the CU decoration, but Veteran rewards, and Elder rewards, should remain for the Elders and Veterans. Enough of this "Anti-Elite" garbage.
In my opinion if someone wants to walk around in an elder robe or use an elder item, they should have to earn the damn thing. Simply being around as a jedi before the NGE isn't exactly earning it.

Did you even care to read the thread or does hate constantly fill your mind? Read the orginal quote, oh master of wisdom.
Hate? I'm not the one all up in arms that people who haven't played as long as I have are getting the same rewards as me. And yes, I know what you mean by earning it. I don't agree with it because it's an elitist pr1ck mentality and ruins games like this in the long run for people who just want to enjoy a few hours playing in the Star Wars universe, flawed as it is in its implementation.
