Ok ive heard rumours of when the combat revamp is released we will be able to dual weild lightsabers (sounds awesome totally think it should go ahead).
So i thought of something we could do to replace the master box skills...
Instead of 4th gen saber (which will be put in 1hLS 4 box) put dual-wield sabers as a new schematic . surely only masters could handle 2 sabers at once?
Also in ep 1 maul was able to use his double bladed saber as a 2 handed. So i think we should be able to use 2 handed moves on our double bladed saber (in which one blade disappears) or make a new sort of 5th gen 2 hand/double-blade saber schem in the master box
The only problem then is balancing the power, but ill save that for other people to discuss...

couldn't resist... Seeing how your gunna use a example from the movie then I will also

Must Iremind you of the part in ep 2 where anakin uses two lightsabers to duel dooku? they should get rid of saber tech and just add in duel saber. Then they could just devide the mods into each style and change it to, for example, duel lightsaber block, duel lightsaber assembly, and etc. Oh well, just my two credits

Couldn't Resists seeing how you're going to use an example from the movie, then I will also.
In Epsiode two when Anakin used the dual sabers, he didn't do too well did he? Didnd't he get his hand cut off? I would assume only a master could handle this.

lol anakin didn't do well because he's a clumsy idiot who doesn't listen to his master Of course he didn't do well... and he was up againest Dooku (which I would think is equivalent to a knight ingame) So... a paddy vs. a knight.... paddy is gunna lose with any style he uses.

Anakin was one of the best saber duelists of all time, yet he couldn't handle two sabers for more than a couple seconds. It's already ridiculous seeing people run around with double bladed sabers, the last thing we need is people running around with 2 sabers.

ok, number one, anakin couldn't handle two sabers because he wasn't trained to use them duel sabers isn't a common saber style anyways. And number two, don't you think the devs would realize that if they put duel sabers in then it would just become the most popular saber style? They would probably balance duel saber, lol which would be hard to believe, so then each saber would be half of the total damage of them together and that you would require crystals for each one. You know... I think duel sabers would be perfect for a jedi master... you wouldn't see alot of it bah oh well

I dont think it would necessarily become the most popular because if its in the master box and people dont have master ls they wont be able to use it anyway. I just think that and the two handed-double bladed saber option would be pretty cool to have.

The thing about the double being used as a two hand saber is that the dmg is completely different and it would make people not even bother making a twohand, they would just use a double as a two hand.

with regards to people using double bladed for their 2 handed because the damage would be higher... that wouldnt be the case because their would only be 1 blade and so the damage would be almost halved.
As for the academy comment, i was playing single player this morning. I'd prefer constructive criticism thanks
