Thread: For all the people who are wanting pearl drops again...be careful...

You might get what you asked for...but its not what we intended. Dont get me wrong..we need the quality pearls back in the game but, soe is going to use our words against us. Putting pearls back in the game is one of the top issues we have so in true underhanded soe fashion when we do get them back they are going to be so rare, your entire game will be finding them. Someone had used their forumla and came up with close to a 1000 kryat kills before you will have the remotest chance of getting a better than good quality pearl. Multiply that by how many in your hunting party use pearls...bam....that puts it up to 3000 to 5000 krayt kills just to get one for each party member and then multiply that by 4 to fill a saber. We need to be more specific about calling for pearls to return to the game. It does no one any good if the drops are not realisitic. Me and two guild mates hunted 24 krayts the other day and the results were laughable. Out of 24 kills, 3 sets of tissues, 3 sets of scales, no pearls at all. Now, with the devs folding on the cm/doc costs for healing this is even a bigger issue. So please, when we are asking for pearls back, be specific about drops. Even when my daughter wants ice cream, she tells me a flavor. She doesnt settle for what i pick out for her.

if its 1/1000, the prices will still be in the 50 mill range for one pearl, insane

You forgot to mention if if the pearls didn't tune better than the current ones you have in your ls atm. Then it would be an even higher kill rate.

I do play one. I properly understand them as well. I still can't stand 95% of the whiny embarrassments that play Jedi. If you'd play it the way it was meant to be, quit trying to pawn off BS as reasoning for why you think its changed, follow the rules, then I guess you'd properly understand it. Your Jedi should be your alt, not the other way around. I put just as much time/effort into getting mine as anyone else, so the time/effort argument for not playing your 'alt' is garbage. I play the way they intended, so I don't feel the need to whine about getting hunted, etc.

I do play my alt, however with the village it is your MAIN char that unlocks, ain it?
And cohersing me to play my alt should not come in the form of f*cking up my jedi!
ALso, I dont care about changes, fi they are sround and tested. These changes to action costs, snares etc, are absurd. Snare hits all of melee, but jedi the most because of BH. Action costs on heals, it affects all healers, but jedi the most, as we also have an FC on our heals.
There are plenty of templates that are better then jedi at PVE and PVP, people just see the glowbat and cry nerf.

SWG is just a science experiment and we are the mice. They have us in this SW environment and make drastic changes to see our responses. I am very sure they are jotting everything down scratching their chin saying "hmmmm interesting." All just one big psychological prank is what I think. The only MMORPG that has taken rewards, items, and achievements away from the players.

Who cares what char it is that goes through the village? Honestly how does that really change the way it was intended, other than keeping the continuity of the one character? So what. Tell me how that 'forces' you to play your Jedi all the time. That reasoning is pretty poor and nothing more than an attempt to make the way everyone plays their Jedi as their main as acceptable. Funny, I unlocked from the village, I play my 'alt' as my main. I follow the rules, doesn't seem to have affected me. Your Jedi is f****ed up because MOST people play their Jedi as their main and MOST of them can't control themselves. The inability to accept the rules, be wise and not abuse the power, keep yourselves hidden (i.e; not wear/equip your robes/sabers in plain view), etc...well guess what? We now have ordinary Jedi because the majority of 'us' can't handle the responsibilty of the power the way it was.

TURD, you are such an 1diot....how in the world is this a post about whining about pearls....all this post is, is to make jedi aware of the wording of what we want....and to be a bit more descriptive and add more detail on requests....you must have a miserable life, if all you do is complain about others...

I care because that is the character Ive befriended alot of folk with during my time befor I became a jedi
And these, rules... you speak of, are but your opinion. Looking at the sheer numbers, the math behind defense, offense, one can clearly and easily see that a jedi is not half as good as most people (often non-jedi) feel it to be. Im basing this all on experience, proven math and tests. You are just bitter taht you see jedi running around in their pyjamas, and cry nerf because of it.... childish...
In context with the original post, Im mearly warning jedi asking for this, that its high likely this will have more nerfscoming our way.
