I really wanted glowie, but really do not care for themeparks after trying the warrens and getting bugged 5 times to where a CSR had to come get me out. So I decided to do some research, and while reading something on allah, I found a post nessled away in the middle of nowhere that said "Wow tonight I did a couple of the mayor quests, and I got glowie after I was done" So I figured what the heck, checked the forums and didnt find any posts that confirmed this, soI tried it myself.(I admit, if its posted before I really do not have good search skills)
2 characters. Master BH, Master Doc duo'd.
One has mastered Marksmen, the doc has 3 professions mastered.
each has 10 poi, 3 jedi, 2 hard, 5 normal.
Both have Nym's as their one themepark badge
I got glowie after finishing all of the Mayor's quests in Mos Eisly. After finishing the 5 "newbie" class quests I recieved 3 badges + 1 key to the citie badge, both characters were glowie upon completion.
waypoint to the mayor is 3436 -4720
It took about 2 hours, might have been 2.5-3 hours but I lost track I know it wasnt over 3 hours though.
Basically he gives you 5 quests:
Scout, Marksmen, Brawler, Artisian, and Musician.
NOTE: FULL TEMPLATES WILL HAVE TO UNLEARN SKILLS TO COMPLETE GLOWIE THIS WAY.
You must have enough points to learn and unlearn basic proff's. If you already have the profession you do not need to unlearn the skills, you just need the skills that come with it.
You can also use a blaster on the brawler quests, if you dont have good hand to hand or melee skills.
EDIT: Also, you can get all 5 quests at once, and do them as you want. They are also listed in your quest journal. I would recommend if you dont have a good memory to /waypoint each npc quest giver that the mayor sends you to, because honestly it gets bugged a lot, and I had to track them down again. If I talked to the mayor again to get the waypoint to the NPC it would erase my progress. Each quests is about 3 missions long, in order of ease : Marksmen (just shoot em up), Brawler (All escort missions), Scout (Harvesting, Trapping, Camp), Musician (dance in 3 cantina's for 5 minutes, then a private party for 10), Artie (make all of the survey scanners).

my pleasure, now those who arent filled with high end friends, or time can complete this. Just hate to say the grind will kill off most of the people who dont want to put forth the effort. I only bypassed theme parks because I am solo #1, and #2 I was so bugged trying to do warrens that I really didnt even want to think about trying any others hehe.
Glad it helped you out, that was my intent to get the info to those who might not know, and might not have the resources to do things like corvette, or warrens.

Doing the Mos Eisley quests are great for becoming Force Sensitive. Just have fun with the one where you have to pick up Novice Entertainer and Dance. I'm still stuck on that one simply because I'm not dropping MBH/Pistoleer/4000 CM for Novice Entertainer. But, if you have the skill points then yes, it's a great alternate route.

I am quite aware of that method in that it takes 13 different things to get glowie. My MBH/Mpistol/CM4000 alt has the vette, gorax, warren, krayt skeleton, sarlacc, ben kenobi's home, theed falls, deeja peak. I need the jedi ruins and exar k'un templeto complete the jedi POIs. A few couple more easy ones and I think the Nym's will make me glowie for the third time. If not I will have to drag myself thru the rebel theme park...ugh.
