Thread: Is a free 7.5 million Jedi xp worth a token respec? (not just a question about exploiting)

First, I'm not saying that I'm going to exploit the token respec. What I'm wondering is, is the token respec more valuable as a method to change templates later if one should so desire, or as a way to save yourself 7.5-8 million xp?
On the one hand, if I wanted to regrind my entire template someday, that's another 15-30 million xp I could save myself, versus the big shot in the arm of xp now... it's an interesting dilemma.
Oh, and if this topic is too boring, where do you rank this on the scale of exploits? Is it a horrible thing to do, or is it an innocent way of outsmarting the system?

Save it, a few good spin groups and you'll get the XP.

Save it, you never know what the future will bring and just grind for an extra 1-2 weeks.

These people are crazy! It's much easier to change your template if you are already a full temp Jedi. I'd use it to save you the XP up front.
Chances are later down the line that you will change your template but you most likely won't swap out whole trees...

This is one of those... pondering questions...
My MP friend asked himself the same thing.. He hates MP now and wants to go MLS.. he didn't wanna use the token b/c he may want it when the FRS comes out... when it comes out... so we are regrinding him to MLS.

Part of the fun of Jedi is Grinding ( to some of us )
I'd grind and use the respec for later.

finish your temp now 7.5 mill is like a few days of 3 hour grinding, use your /respec when FRS comes out

Once the FRS is released there will probably be alot of retemplating activity. If we make enough noise, the devs may grant us an additional respec at that time. Theones I talked to at Fan Fest seemed open to the idea...

I used mine to change 1 box because I couldnt take that pop up window anymore. How annoying. 7.5 mil XP is fairly easy, save it if you can.

if your full temp jedi and want to change a part of your template then its a waist to use the token respec. if your changing your entire template then yeah i would use it. but if you wanted to go from4004 healer to 4040 healer dont respec just grind it out.

yeah...i grined out an entire row and saved respec. unless you are doing a total overhaul on your character id save it. especially with the threat of the FRS return looming. theres a good chance youll want it when it comes back
