Thread: New token respec when FRS comes back?

I've heard rumors about getting another token respec, and that it would not add to the current one, so we either use it or lose it. Is this true? Any offical info about it?

I hope we don't get anymore of these respec things i mean come on, make the game any easier? we were all told that the FRS was going to be disabled "for a short period of time" after the CU was loaded up, just so everyone can respec, (since u cant drop skills when ranked) now its been what 5 months? and nothing? we kept hearing "yeh yeh, around pub 23/24/25 and its almost 25 and we have nothing but "yeh it's been delayed" lol

Exactly because of this the respecs suck.

the only reason we would get a respec would be because if they changed a lot of jedi stuff swaped around skills balanced out defences (IE not put them all in defender and possbly remove defender all together, this would help
)

why would u say that? its the only thing keeping 50+ pre cu ranked jedi on lowca playing at the moment

98.3827% of all rumors are crap.
Don't count on a respec, because if they allow it for Jedi, they have to allow it for everyone. Also, I believe SOE has already stated there will not be any more respec'ing beyondwhat's currently available.
Personally, I would hope that the new FRS makes it so any viable Jedi template has a reasonable expectation of success in the FRS (or whatever it may be called), and therefore removes any need for a respec. (The definition of "viable" being a debatable point.)
More than likely, however, the new FRS will be very different, it'll spura whole new round of template re-grinding, and there'll be no respec.

Its the only thing (except the expansion) what keeps me (pre-cu ranked jedi) playing too. Sad if I think about it, but there is no information yet on what happens to the FRS.

We got a Respec after the CU because that was a MAJOR CHANGE in the game. Core Rules for all the Professions changed and with that weapons, armours, buffs etc etc etc. All changed. Because of this SOE had to give us a free Respec, so people did not have to start from scratch again, because they where sitting there with a template they did not want!
FRS is not a major change to the game. All Jedi templates should work OK with the FRS no matter, so there should not be any real need for a Respec over the FRS. I have saved my Token Respec tho for this occation anyway. Because its better to be safe then sorry.
However, SOE said after the CU launched that they would THINK of a NEW Respec for the FRS. But they could definitely not promise anything! And I cant see that SOE have got anything more concrete then that. So I would not be suprised at all if SOE says no.

I could see this being the only viable option, but I can't see any significant changes being made...unless perhaps they change the Healer Tree. However, I don't think it's likely to happen.
