I thought about this and while I think it is a horrible idea overall, I think there is a solution.

Give me permadeath for dying 10 times during PvP but give me full XP to regrind my template. don't give me some idiotic 800-1200 XP per kill and 6.8million for a Mastery. Give me 5k-6k per kill like everyone else so my grind still takes longer, and if I get killed I lose one life out of 10. When I use them up I have toregrind.

Just my opinion.

As for 3 Jedi per Swordsman, that's already a reality (especially if(s)he have a med bot with him/her).

I think its a problem that few Jedi wants any negative effects for Jedi, Don't accept permadeath, don't accept skill loss, now we don't even loose xp from PVE death. whats next getting Xp for dying?

Thats one of the reasons Jedi has been nerfed on a monthly basis since pub 9, if the trend continues you will need 3 jedi to beat a Msword in about a year , heh...

Something has to be done about Jedi...

Yes, delete them all from server along with BH, so maybe other professions can get a little attention for a change?

this has nothing to do with how good you are at pvp... everyone dies at some point, whether you are the best or the worst doesn't matter... the point is, i grind my ass off to get to where i am, as has everyone else and having my character permanently taken away from me because i die is not appealing.... you go ahead and keep your fingers crossed tho bud... SOE will never do this, because they aren't complete idiots... they know if they did do this, 90% of their customers would cancel, and then there'd be you and homeboy who made the original post left in the game, and yall can be as bad ass as you think you are all day long... with each other
