Thread: No Premiums, No Krayt spawns....but all is not lost! Read this thread and take heart!!

I just spent the evening with 2 jedi friends, one has master powers and the other has a rubbish saber (we're talking 570 damage here!)
After 3 hours of hunting down and destroying over 20 CL111 NPC's for quality crystals, we had looted 2 of them. One tuned to 28/28 and the other to 22/22.
While we're sitting round discussing what we're gonna do tomorrow, I notice that the forsaken force drifters are still hanging about, so I take potshots at them with a AdvLas rifle. One drops a "fair" crystal.....I hand it to my partner to tune......and he gets it to 105/105 -5FC!!!
I was stunned beyond belief, especially after getting such awful tunes from quality crystals. Suffice to say, he now has an entirely post CU saber with 623 damage....having finally been able to replace a terrible crystal with an amazing one!
The moral of the story is that premium type tunes ARE still possible in game. So get out there hunting and loot as many crystals as you can, of any type!

i just tuned 2 fairs to 107 dam, -7 FC, and another to 105 max dam, -5 FC
i tuned another 18 that tuned to crap, but theres hope

Yup I dont care what quality the crystals are anymore...if its white im thrilled and i tune it up. Fairs are super easy to get so i stick with those. When no one is on to group with i just head to canyon corsair poi on lok and loot away! usually end up with one or two a day. Best tune so far off a fair was 79/79 -3 not bad.

Sooooo... what are all the things that drop "white" now that this doesnt matter?....Back to Fort Tusken?

Tuskens, canyon corsairs, force type NPCs on dantooine.....pretty large list probably, theres a few that I know of

Just wait, the whiners are around the corner waiting to flame you. If it aint 120, -9fc and -.25 it's not worth it., when in reality that is a tune better than most of the premiums we looted pre-9.

pre cu any pearl that was not -9 FC was sh1t.
It's sad that crappy tunes are considered amazing now because of the f*cked up system, something needs to be done.

329 tunes so far8 tunes nowin the 95 to 91 dmg range. That has been since the CU as of a few hours ago. Only tuneed 10 pre CU for grinding purposes.

It's a different system now. -9 doesn't mean nearly as much as it did. It's all about damage now, and anything over 100 is pretty damned good.
