Thread: Ithorian Jedi?

Yup, I've gone crazy! My Jedi grind is coming to a close. I expect to finish my templae by Saturday. It's been a long 7 months and though I've taken off time to recoup after burnouts, I feel the need to grind out another Jedi.


I'm going to take my doctor alt and unlock another account, which I will grind up to Jedi. Yes, I want to be the first Ithorian Jedi on Bria. This got me to thinking:


  • What is a good Jedi template for a race that's supposed to be pacifist?

  • Would the Jedi robes actually work for an Ithorian?

  • Has the months of grinding finally fried my brain to a crisp?

I was thinking that there's no way Ican get to Jedi before the combat upgrade (or shortly before), so I'm going to try this for a template:


Master Defender, 4-0-0-4 Lightsaber, 4-0-0-4 Healer, 0-4-0-2 Enhancer


When damage gets reduced all-round, I figure being a defender with the defense tree of lightsaber, go on synthsteak and use Force Armor 2 would be a good way to stick around in combat for awhile.


My other option for a template is:


Master Healer, 4-0-0-4 Lightsaber, 4-0-0-4 Defender, 0-4-0-2 Enhancer


This would be a better role-player in a combat group with the wound/fire healing abilities.


What does everyone else think?

lol, it took you 7 months to grind one and the only thing you're thinking about is grinding another Jedi?


Devs, see what your grinding has done.....he is addicted and can't stop.

Yay, the robes would work. I have to go back and see if the boots are included.


And yes, I've seen friends fall by the wayside because of "lack of content". If I ever felt bored, I'd just grind. I ground out 29 professions to unlock my Jedi on Easter morning, spent my early months grinding in the wilds of Endor, moved to Dathomir, then to Dantooine after the Village thing swamped my hunting grounds with players driving around.


In this time, I've helped grind out professions on two of my in-game friends' accounts to get them to unlock before patch 9, I've logged in on two of my Jedi friends accounts to help them get through the Knight trials.


Wow, I guess I AM addicted.

Im worse-- Im still grinding after patch 7/8 LOL-- man I suck.. I have changed my template like 4 times.. lol

Wow. That's all I can say about this template. No passive defenses. This would be very role-playish for an Ithorian Jedi, but I'm just trying to think how I would actually grind it out. Once ground out, I would go nowhere in the FRS system. Using a training saber without specials, I doubt I could get any deathblows in. Maybe if I was lucky, but wow.


It would pose an interesting challenge though.

there are some, a jedi on Chilistra i belive had to reroll becuase of log in probelms, and made it a Ithorian Jedi.... Screenshot of the dat #463 shows one wielding a red double bladed saber at the foot of the Gorax.
