Thread: New FOTM?
That is because a lightsaber's damage range is usually under 100, Aura is more noticable against weapons that has 400-500 damage range, like my 400-946 scatter or 543-1119 laser rifle. Aura will decrease the initial damage, say before aura your damage taken before armor 1200+, but with aura up you'd take about 800+ before armor, then force armor has less damage to mitigate hence lower force costs.
Which is why I hate facing marks with both aura and armor, and even valor.

Any opinions on these skills for a template? I may consider just scratching master healer for this.

this temp doesnt work. shield and aura dont stack. waste of force.
course they dont stack.... they are different modifiers. gah!
Aura goes on melee/ranged deffense armour adds to inate.
aura migitates the dmage based on the opponants accuarcy and inate armour blocks a % of the damage done to you.
so there for it isn't a waste of force.

As for why I think it's FOTM, a large number of BH's have MBH/something/CM 4xxx to keep them healed during PC Jedi fights. Yeah, yeah, I was just tossing around and going by Kodan's Calculator, I saw that as MBH/MPistols/CM 4xxx you get a Melee Defense of 185 and a GRA of 160, a lot higher than what you proposed. And I love SL. Even MCarbs instead of MPistols you get a 165 Melee Defense and GRA of 160. Now, with what you proposed, 115 GRA and 170 MD. Though, these numbers may be wrong, but if MD is used for non-jedi, I'd try for a higher MD. And a higher GRA is always best. Though, with the new system I can't say yet.

keep in mind that if FotM is MBH / MSL / Ranger xxxx or MBH/ MRanger / SL xxxx there are no weapon specific mods (to my knowledge anyway)
that is, if you get GRA of 150 that's all you have. but if you getsay MBH / MCarb / SL xxxx you'll get that GRA plus your carbine specific accuracy modifier. you'll likely be pushing 225 or 250 accuracy.
that's a big difference to most people and probably will be the main thing to keep the FotM folks away.

If ranger prereqs will be Terrain 4 and Cabine 4, you could expect to see MBH/MCABRS/Medic 0200 and Ranger 4000 or which ever ranger line gives stealth.
