Please dont go on the "its kinda unfair" role on this ..... don't do it because then I will counter it with , it was kinda unfair when I crafted my old sabers and they went "POOF" when they crit failed on a upgrade or just making one, Also if you can get 6 flawless Pearls in your saber now... (your exploiting).... Lets also add because we had or planned our Jedi... not to mention pay a crap load of credits when it was hard to make credits for our Pearls needs to be factored into this.

Now lets add in the mere fact of Decay.. Now we have ADKs, and Sabers are containers.. YOU Can actully save a pearl.. you can take it out and NOT USE it or better yet switch them... oh man...

So while you say "its kinda unfair"... I can give you lists of the "kinda unfair stuff"... let me know if you need it... I can keep going from everything like Group hunting to XP rate and ease of grind in the Risk vs Reward system...

Using the "kinda unfair"-card is like shooting bullet into the sky.

My interpretation from tiggs statement about pearls.

This is what I got from it.

The easiest one would be premium/flawless pearls are gonna be connected to the new expansion via quests or high level creatures on that planet.

Tiggs mentioned that they want to keep premium and flawless pearls rare.

Kinda hard to keep them rare right now with most pre cu jedi already stocked up on them from that one patch pre cu.

I'm thinking that pearls will be getting a 'revamp'.

Our old pre cu pearls will then be converted to something average in the new pearl 'system'.

Basically pre-revamped flawless/premium pearls will be converted to good/quality pearls(tuned and untuned).

Then they can make premiums and flawless rare again.


This is all just speculation.

Spose thats one way to get rid of the last old jedi . Make their perls rubbish , yep that would do it hahahaha.

why cant they just put the pearls in, and give us jedis some good sabers

because if we had premiums and flawless flooding the market, the devs couldn't sell them with their toons for obscene amounts of credits j/k

We are simply trying to do the best in a Jedi system that we inherited, much as you did in pre-publish 9. The difference is, and it's a doozy. Many of us Post-CU Jedi, did the bulk, if not all of our grind PRE-CU. We based our decision to BECOME Jedi based on Pre-CU and in alot of cases (like myself) Pre-Pub 9 Jedi. Now, when we finally get there, we earned quite a different "Jedi" than the one we have seen, imagined and desired. Would be much akin to researching that special Porsche you want, seeing it in pictures, on the lot, others driving it, then picking out your color, saving your nickles and dimes, finally purchasing it, to find that the EPA (aka SOE) has changed all of the engine specs to make it run like a beetle.
