Thread: For the sake of balance: remove the ability to place ADKs on sabers.

On my server there are a bunch of ebayed jedi that just run around having no idea what they're doing but can deal a ton of damage with strategy-lacking button slamming-- I'm sure there same must be happening on all servers.
When this change goes in, all pearls and crytals would decay as per before the vet reward system, and all players would be refunded their ADKs.
I know some Pre-CU jedi will come here and try to say that this is a nerf call, but its really just a balance for the greater good of the jedi system, because they have no idea how terrible it is right now to be stuck with cruddy tunes of quality pearls with a DPS amazing sub-par to a mediocre laser rifle.
Hopefully, most jedi players will be able to look past their own stuff and see the good that would come from this change.

Us Pre CU Jedi had to go through hell getting our Premium and Flawless pearls, spending millions of credits, or hunting for days wiith numerous friends for Krayts that people would kill each other over. Just because we have something better than you doesn't mean you can cry nerf. Sit tight, wait for it to be fixed, and stop whining like a bored kid on a school bus, cause no one wants to hear someone whine about what some Jedi havve and what you don't. All Jedi can't have the same stats on their sabers.
Hell, I remember us Pre pub 9 jedis searching for single force crystals, and that was hell.

What if you get the perfect saber in the future?
You would come to say "Please add ADK to sabers".
Lets avoid a nerf it!! attitude. Why not tell SoE what they are doing is wrong, and every Jedi should be able to get all the flawless and premium pearls/crystals they want, be it farming or not.

Becoming a Jedi after the CU does not make you unlucky, it means you took the easy way.
Now you want to take all the pearls away from the people that went out and hunted them.
You spent nearly 2 years playing this game without getting any pearls and now that you are a Jedi you still don't want to get them, instead you want to take them away from other Jedi.
I hope you drop the profession, as you are not an asset to the community.

I don't agree with the original poster but dear God, this is utter bullsh!t. I would have loved to spend my time killing krayts pre-cu but sadly my 2 tours in Iraq prevented this. I'm sure many others had real life things that stopped them also, maybe some weren't even playing then?Please don't spout crap like that when you don't know what you are talking about.

Understand something Eapers, and this is not a flame...but as this game progresses, new things will happen that will benefit one and completely screw another. There is no way to balance these issues through nerfing. Simple solution to this, either bring back higher pearls or crystals, or increase the drop rate and enahnce the chances of "GOOD" pearls to tune better...
I mean, just look at all the Jedi who unlocked way back in the day, they got to make a completely new Jedi toon, selecting the race of their choice and all. All the newer Jedi had to abandon their original templates and start some other character from fresh, while their main became the Jedi...so you see, changes will never entirely be fair. But, it's all a work in progress...
Oh, and yes, I am a Pre-CU Jedi...by about 6 days...
