Thread: M-powers downside?

I'm working on 1 of 2 templates and its time to make a decision. I'd like some input from those of you with experience, please. The 2 templates are:


Master powers

Master enhancer

Healer 4000

LS 0100


OR


Master powers

Enhancer 3402

Healer 4000

LS 0404

downside to mpowers is no defense and without a sabre to help you aren't ever going to be able to take a mls template.

well probably the second template... it's good to have a saber to back up powers. the thing about powers is that its unbalanced pretty bad.. im not complaining or anything.. im just saying.. its unbalanced in that it does tons of damage... but eats up force and your stats faster than it should.. its insanely fun though so if you wanna listen to me.. go for it.. its just a suggestion

Yes. I definitely want master powers. Its master enhancer or more LS I'm wondering about. Thanks for your input.

My Current template is


Master Powers


Enhancer 2xx4


Defender xx4x


Healer 41xx (likely to trade wound heal to make enhancer 4xx4)


Lightsaber x4xx



Works Well For alot of things... Best in PVP Group fights, but does quite well solo PVE.



NOT a template for someone looking to tank, but is an overall very fun template to play.

I started out wanting to tank. But I've realized the friends I group with most are tanks and I can do more in a support role. And I just like the idea of powers/enhancer more than ls/defender. So now I'm in the middle of regrinding.

Exactly the temp I have and I enjoy it very much, the one without woundheals I mean. Master powers is nice versus bh as well. Offers good offense and an escape route.

The damage output for a powers jedi is lower than that of a MLS... but powers looks cool

i have the second template exactly!


had it for many months now and really enjoy it. You just need to learn your limitations and use your advantages even if they upset people. Its definitly a pvp support template, and i can hold my own in pve with the use of food and stims, powers is fun and i hope will be put back in balance in the near future

I have a variant of the first one: Mpowers/MEnh/Healer3000/LS0200


Having armor break really helps. Soloing CL80 mobs is a challenge but with patience it can be done. I run an infusion macro and don't have to do the 1000 health heals unless things are going really bad.

Thats my template exactly, only complaints i have are that is takes so much force! Force Armor takes
alot of force but the only reason i have it it to keep me alive long enough to last out any root then im back to kiting keeping all melee away from me. Against ranged templates its awesome. Would deffinately reccomend a full tree of sabers at the very least, powers alone just doesnt cut it damage wise against anyone with just a little bit of healing.
