Hehe, have you ever seen that short video of the kid that gets a lightsaber for Christmas? It's probably 15 seconds long, he tears it open, screams "OH COOL" or something similar, lights it up and waves it back and forth, then spins around to show his father sitting behind him and cuts him in half, then takes out the Christmas tree, etc, etc. Very funny.![]()
got a link to that?
Sabers have no "on" button. They are force activated by the Jedi if my memory serves me correctly.

Incorrect....and fyi although rare, some non force sensitive individuals use sabers.
one example from the movies....when han uses luke's saber to cut open the gut of the wampa.
I got a light saber from Toys'R Us and it has an 'on' button.
Does that mean that I am not really force sensative?
in the star wars universe, i believe you have to hold the activation button down for the lightsaber to stay activated.
That is why if a lightsaber is knocked out of the hand of a jedi, it will power off instantly, because it is not being held down. In a saber throw, the jedi is using the force to hold the button down and propel the saber further.
You guys are dorks. Total dorks. Why the hell are you discussing whether jedi press a power button or use the force? It's a game, eesh...
(I've been wanting to say this for about three years now.)

lightsabers never accidentally go off in people's pockets?
I'd rather reply to this post than actually go in game and have to deal with the worthless piece of trash that SOE has created.
