Thread: Why jedi may not be 100% of the server.

The first months I predict (easy prediction) that everyone will play jedi. But eventually delete them for a other profession. The current jedi are forgetting that we will still have 2 toons per acct post-CU2. Can you imagine having to play your jedi 24/7 and never being able to make money aside from looting and running missions? I definitely plan on immediately mastering the trader prof and making a mint on all the nub jedi that are rich now, but will have very limited sources of income post-CU2.

Everybody will make a jedi to start because they can, then they'll realize that the new jedi is the suxx0rz and no better than any other prof (maybe worse in some cases) except for the flashy colours.

Uh..the only thing i play is my Jedi. 24/7

You are forgetting that jedi will not be an alpha class anymore. And the new jedi wont unlock a 2nd toon to financially support their jedi. Think about this. The best CA's drop from BH missions, yet you are jedi and cant run bh missions. What do you do? You cant afford the CA's b/c you have no source of income. You are just a jeedai wearing a funny looking robe and holding a glow stick, nothing more. Older Jedi get to keep their alt. /cheers

yup, it's gonna be interesting battles against ranged. I'm just hoping and praying that saber block ability deflects it back to the attacker, otherwise it's just a wasted move where we could be attacking.. (unless we're fleeing) But I honestly believe Jedi is going to be difficult now. (woot!, about damn time)

You am me both bud. Considering jedi will be the only tank in the game, we gotta have decent defenses.

Agreed. I also feel that alot of people will fall into the whole, "i'm not gonna be a jedi because everyone else is" mindset. Most people, new and fs grinding are most likely going to pick jedi, right off the bat, just cause they can. I think eventually, the aforementioned mindset will kick in and Jedi won't be as plentiful. All we can really do, is grit our teeth, bare it for a month or so, and things should work out.
I'm pretty set on keeping my Jedi char a Jedi char after cu2. My real predicament is what prof my alt is gonna be, i want to be them all dammit!

easy decision for me my alt will be a commando, ima make him a storm trooper 24/7 and start my own army out of the alts in my guild and start destroying everything that is Rebel. ERRRR KILL!!!!

You know that doesn't sound half bad! LOL. Once I finished my hologrind, I was going to reflect on the combat profs I completed and decide what combo I enjoyed the most and grind that template. I enjoyed Commando (despite not being commando for pub24 having all the goodies) and I enjoyed CM, so i was going to build a template that included those. Unfortunately, I can't be a commando/CM so perhaps I'll roll the commando route as well.

god dangit i knew this would happen im starting to not hate the IDEA of the cu2.0 but i still hate how soe is implementing it!very sneaky business indeed
