This was posted on the jedi-tech forums!!!



Just thought i'd pass this along to you guys. normally i'm not one to spread rumors, but this one came from a guy in my guild who is working with the soon to begin swgradio.com.

One of his co-workers has one-on-one discussions with workers at SOE and was told FRS will be coming back in some shape or form with Patch 24.

Not nice to get hopes of all the waiting Jedi up....then watch them get crushed with the release of the patch 24 notes.

I agree that is why I said that I am not the one to spread rumors, but it was posted on these forums.

publish 24 will come with a bunch of Squad Leader abilities, nothing jedi related on Test Center at the moment

I hope to god this rumor is true. SOE gives us back the freaking FRS. I do not understand what is so hard about that.

Ummm, approval of Lucas Arts is required for the FRS I think (or something like that). And lots and lots of programming? Yea, thats probably hard.

Its easy, the old FRS didnt "work as expected". I guess is not easy to create a new system that actually works

Could be possible, since no patch notes for publish 24 for awhile. The SL stuff said pre-pub 24.

for some reason i believe all these rumors....only to have my hopes crushed by the enhancements for musician/dancer...

Currently even the pre pub 24 has been taken off, it was causing huge server instability.

However, I do know they were awaiting lucasarts approval simply to release the ideas to the playerbase, let alone code anything , so i would think it doubtful.

The other thing is of cource, TC currently still has the original FRS enabled, one would imagine that would have to be turned off first....

Actually I have heard from some friends on TC that its going to be the publish coming AFTER 24. In essent, Publish 25 will be the FRS.

The best school friend of mother of my best kindergarden friend once told grandmother of police officer, who probably was standing near coffee shop right next block to where I live, that after he recovers from hard liquer addiction he would be glad to introduce new enchaced FRS in publish 258.
