While grinding, a padawan makes to the safety of a faction base where the pursuing BH could follow if he had been combatant.

At the BH's request, the CSR Moves the padawan out of the base to where the BH is. . . she dies and loses 300k jedi xp...

sad.

should've logged out, and crap happens.

CSRs don't know what's legal and not half of the time, so don't count on them for much. Move on 300k xp is nothing to grind back now.

wasn't getting help, its techincally an exploit to run into a faction base since BH TEF has nothing to do with Faction. Jedi shouldn't even be allowed in them once engaged with a BH

Have them put in a ticket, with the circumstances. A "good" CSR would see what happend, log the 3rd party interferance, and return the exp.

i know that it is questionable for a jedi to enter a base.....and some may say it is considered an exploit. I however believe that it is NOT given the fact that the BH can FREELY enter the base as long as he too is combatant...sure he will get attacked by faction NPCs but that is a RISK the BH will need to contend with. . .

Tanks has requested that this be changed so currently, it is working as intended and the CSR really had no right...unless thye know something we do not .

Its not an exploit. Everyone knows that the CSRs act without correct information. And it doesnt help when ppl come here and say "its technically this way or that way" especially when they cant know whether it is or not.I was told by several CSRs that its not an exploit so the fact that CSRs said it was/wasnt an exploit is pointless arguing.

Hiding in a base is not like hiding in a private player structure. The BH could have gone combatant to continue the battle. It was jus a LAZY BH and a STUPID CSR who cost that player their time expended for that exp. And your right, BH tef has nothing to do with this. The fact that the BH didnt want to go combatant or declare faction is the issue. Basicly the CSR handed this particular BH a bounty b/c both parties were ignorant of the fact that it isnt illegel till said so by the DEVs not foolish CSRs bowing to a pi$$ed off player.

I know I will probably get flamed for this, but what did the jedi do to get vis in the first place? You have to get vis to get on the terms, so therefore she wasnt just given vis for no reason. I have been grinding my jedi for a month now and have yet to get my first visit from the wonderful bh's that are all over Bloodfin. I have been careful to try to not gain any vis, but I know that I have on accident, but still no visits. It makes me wonder exactly what did they do to get on the terms in the first place. If she was combatant, then she was getting vis from opposite faction npc's who would attack her on sight. She would also show red to any other sf that got near her. It almost sounds to me that she was asking to get on the terms and get a visit. So flame away, you can stay off the terms till you are ready, and she must have thought she was ready, but that xp loss seems real low. Just my two cents and flame me away.

valid question. She grinds on Dantooine with other jedi. That is how she got vis. We full templates help our padawan but while doing so, we get BH visits. The BHs do not adhere to the 32m rule when they attack a mark so the padawan grinding with us get a little bit of vis each time a BH comes to try me or another full temp. It adds up over time.
