I have read the FAQ and need this question answered if anyone has any idea. Let's say your main charachter is John Lightsaber on Eclipse right? And this is the charachter you use to unlock your FS slot. Could you then delete John Lightsaber and then name your FS character the same, place him on the same server, and make him look just like the original John Lightsaber, so that no one would suspect you had unlocked the character, or will SOE automatically assign your character to a new server so that you can't do this? If anyone knows plz respond, I've been unable to find this on the FAQ. Thanks for your help, sorry if this has been answered already.

I believe you could delete him, wait the three days until the name clears, and then nameyour FSS char the exact same name on the same server. Sounds like a kinda cool Role Play device...

There is always the chance that the server will not spit your name out. I had a friend who had this issue after a week of trying. The CSR's said the name should be available in the time period of 24hours to indefinate.Yep, best case 24 hours, worst case never lol.If by some miracle i do get a fscs, im going to take my chances.

if i happen to ever get a FS slot, i'm gonna make my first one on the same server i play on, and make the FS charater related to the original (sister, cousin) and roleplay it that way

I'd bet he's writing a novel-length post on the merits (or lack thereof) of the devs' latest revisions to the Jedi/BH system.
The actual impact of such a post will probably be negligible, but it might be an entertaining read.

(This is a roleplaying and non-roleplaying perspective)
My name is Jacella. I am a Jedi. I dance the fine line between the Light and the Darkness. Between Order and Chaos. I am a master of that dance. Many times I am asked what it means to be a jedi and for a long time I have not been able to answer that question. Now I have an answer.
Jedi means different things for each jedi, but there are some consistencies.
I strive to maintain Order and to protect the greater whole against selfishness and self-serving tyrants. I serve my Emperor to that end. Politics, like love, is an emotional tidepool, both unpredictable and fluid. My debates usually are done with a lightsaber and cunning martial skill, not words.
Does this mean that I am a mindless killing machine? No. Does it mean that I am stronger than the enemies I may face? No. What it means is that with the Force as my ally and with my own skills, I have been trained to uphold the ideals of the Order and to defend the weak.
The Terrorists, who call themselves "The Alliance" or "The Rebellion" to sell themselves as being on the side of the just, are murderers of civilians and are commanded by the most notorious of known criminals. With the destruction of our orbiting space station, the "Death Star", countless civilian families lost their husbands, fathers, wives, mothers,brothers and sisters due to the ruthless and violent attack. These families are left with no-one to support them, no-one to raise them, and no-one to protect them. The horror of the holovid images displayed by these Rebel Terrorists has caused more trauma amongst the youth than the initial attack. These murderers need to be stopped!
The Force is fickle, it ebbs and flows constantly. What is useful to me on one mission, may well fail me in the next. I must constantly train to understand my own connection to it. My meditations have brought me some understanding to the phenomena. The more violence I see in our beautiful city streets, the more deaths I see of civilians, the weaker the Force becomes. The Old Order of so-called "LIght Jedi" has been infested with a sickness of power. They fight amongst themselves in cities such as Theed and Bestine. Theyprey mercilessly on the weak, and laugh at their slaughter. Lord Vader foresaw this coming to pass and attempted to cut the rot out of the Order, but the cancer spread too fast. I bless the Emperor and Lord Vader for saving me from this disease.
My skills are chosen by my life lessons, not by me. Everyone has a note to play, like a fine musical instrument, and that is the only note they can play. If you fight against it, to try and be a baritone while you are made to be an alto, you will fail. You must find your note and strive to perfect that single note. A lifetimes journey, but glorious in its simplicity. Then, when combined with an ensemble of others, the music, the chorus is sung. Do not try and be a chord when only a single perfection of sound is possible.
Many see the masters of our Order and seek to emulate them. They see their successes and triumphs and dream ofbeing them. This is a flaw of logic. It is better to celebrate their individualism, yet seek our own identity. They are a wonderful source of wisdom and knowledge, but only you can find your single note.
To be a jedi is to dance the dance, whether it be in a mud hut or a Royal Palace. To find that you stumble at times, and to rejoice in the act of learning again what it means to dance. To sing that perfect note, and then learn how to do it again and again. The path of a jedi has no destination, only another road ahead of it. If you stop walking, you will vanish into nothingness. The goal of jedi is to constantly seek perfection, not attaining it.
The Force provides for us what we need...not what we want. To fight against the Force is to fight against who we are. To join with the Force is to let it carry us to find our perfect note.
