How effective is Force Extinguish at putting out CM fires?I am deciding what to do with my left over skill points and I can either grab x14xhealer, or could grab x23x Healer. I already have Healer 4xxx.

The BH's that have been coming after me have become more and more difficult to deal with as they are all now using 75% AB armor and good weapons. I'm finding myself in neverending battles that after 20 minutes I have to stasis and run due to force running out and their HAM bars never dwindling. So I'm adding a bit of additional defenses vs. the CM BH's.

So basically I guess I'm wondering does Force Extinguish immediately put out fires, or does it have to be applied multiple times?

What use is putting out fires if you can't even heal the damage that you've already taken?

Improved Infusion (3000 heal) will negate most DoTs.

I've got Imp Sap now but haven't had chance to test it out on anyone yet so will comment on that when I have some more info

i would go for extinguish (i have haelaer 44xx) and it works very well for me

Sap is by far more important than extinguish fire.

I'm sorry I wasn't more clear. I already have Healer 4000, was just looking to add to it. Editing original post to refelct that.

So is Improved Sap more important than Extinguish Fire? I could have Regular Sap and Regular Extinguish.

Ialso need to know if the Regular Extinguish puts out the fires immediately or does it have to be used mulitple times to get rid of fire dots.

Force Extinguish should have this animation like Superman blowing out fires. that would be cool.

I would go with Sap.

1. Every BH will use action and mind. Not every BH will use Fire.

2. Many BH can out heal many Jedi damage dealers. So the common method of killing these BH is to run their mind out.

3. Sap works against other Jedi, but no jedi tosses fire.

4. Ext Fire often requires more than one application to remove the dot.

Thanks Marrow, the big thing I was wondering about was the amount of applications necessary to actually put the fire out.

Okay sorry to invade on thread but while on subject of Sap my template currently is: master defender , 4000 heal , 4002 enhancer, and 3404 ls. I have 1 skill point left and im also dropping the 3xxx i have in sabers which i no longer need so in total that will free me up for a total of 19 skill points. So my situation is to get force sap i will have to drop the 4xxx ehnacer and go to 3xxx giving up force run 2 and improved force surpression which works very well on a BH that likes to keep his distance.Is this worth getting force sap?
