I was just thinking about it the other day, ya know, when you grow up watching Star Wars and learning that lightsabers are pure energy, then get Star Wars Galaxies and a lightsaber's damage is Kinetic, you come to wonder... Who the hell is SOE and Lucas Entertainmenthiring to plot these things into the game? As a lightsaber is pure energy it should do energy damage, or some specialized kind of energydamage. As it is they need to add many kinds of damage and they need to add a hell of a lot more weapons as well.

seems about 1500 per hit in pvp 2k in pve.

Im concideriing going 4 jedi and i want to know what an average lightsabes dps is and also how much damage do force powers do?

all depends on the pearls you have for your saber I believe the avereage max damage would be averaging between the 350 or 550 mark...

The damage on my Lightsaber is 595-693 and the DPS is 689. On the scale of things, this is towards the high end of Lightsabers. The damage caps at 800 and as has been said, it all depenends on the pearls and crystals you have. If you have bobbins crystals, then your Lightsaber damage can be as low as 300-400 and DPS will be around 400. As things currently stand, the good crystals and pearls that are needed to get Lightsabers with stats like mine and better, just aren't dropping. So unless you already have them, the best you can currently hope to do is a 300-400 damage Lightsaber with a DPS of 350-400.

I am lucky that I have been a Jedi for a while and got all my pearls and crystals before the CU when they were dropping.

My modified dps for my gen 4 saberis 399. Not great. But using power attack I will hit a mob for 1200. I am currently 0404 LS. When I tried Master LS, I only hit for approximately 10% more.

Currently im only 1244 in sabers and my saber is as follows,

532-672 damage

1.54 mod speed

513.62 dps

103 i believe elemental

126 sac

19 fc

How does this shape up?

Not too bad . you will do ok with it . if possible though i would try to get SAC at 98 -105. You may have problem with your action with your SAC that high. But try it out see how it works , you may be ok .

its a quite good saber imo, i only have 574 max dmg and I do fine if I just stay away from the bh fotms(every bh that is).
