I fought a BH for a half hour the other night just to have him run off and tell me he would get me later.
I was out in the middle of nowhere helping a friend grind whena BHcame upon us, I had anout 15 Holocrons(is it true you can onlyuse 1 a day?)on me and popped that after about
10-15 mins. The question I have is what am I supposed to do if he keeps running away from me and I can't catch him other than the advanced saber throw knockdown.
I was thinking about dropping Channel to gain force run but that would hinder any grinding on my part or doing any quests.
I love MLS and MDEF since a BH barely scratches me when they/heare doing everything in their power to kill me, even the CM stuff had little effect since I have Improved Infusion and stayed constantly healed.
I am more annoyed than anything with the BH's at this point and if I could keep them in close quarters they would last a few minutes tops and thats if they know what they are doing.
Any Ideas on this can you run inside the Cantina at the MO and make them come inside for you? OR are we booted out of places like that?
- if they run away and you live then you won!
- one holocron once per 24 hours.
- (can't catch them) change your template or carry an ALR for the range and surprise.
- Channel is almost required - only viable to drop if you have 2-3 other jedi with you with TransferForce
- snare and root = forceWave and ForceSupression - you already have one of them

- you're are both limited to the same structures - no exploits!
Well, looks like you're either due a change of your template or you're going to learn how to play with what you're build is. You are a Master Defender, think of something which can stand there and take it as much as they can dish it out.
My build is: LM, Defender 0044, Healer 4000, Enhancer 3402.
It's _VERY_ effective for BHs although the costs associated with ImprovedForceArmor are devestating in PvE they work well in PvP - oh, read somewhere that enhancer x4xx with NoviceDefender was equal to having just MasterDefender...keep in mind the additional force costs.
Master Defender is for the inate defenses more then anything else. Oh, watch out for Saberthrow. It can be a double egded sword if you're using it alot - high costs on force/action pools.
I've been here since day one.. not to be disrespectful but It's been eons since I needed Burst run with having force run. I dropped Force run to finish MLS and that is why I did not know.
I grinded 99% of my Jedi without the respec crap, so don't get on me about not knowing....

Well...if you've "been here since day one" why is this your first encounter with a BH? I would like to think you've had some experiance with playing a changing profession such as Jedi which is no where near to how it was first concieved.

Parwan Nutricake is your friend. Also, use valor aura (duh) and infusion. This will make his ranged (and dots) basically ineffective, you may need to heal once or so in there. Keep him on the run and healing, also make sure you snare him as much as possible and spam saber throw like its your best friend. Against a CM template the battles can be lengthy. I also suggest buying a +15 Terrain Negotiation Bando from a Tailor. Your really fighting his mind more than anything.
I would advise agasint this. You will end up dumping your stats quicker then you can imagine and it will feel like you're getting no where with the aggressor. The only use would be if you're rooted and the only means of attack is with the saberThrow, other then that do _NOT_ spam this attack if you want to live.
You have LM, use it. Set SaberStrike to default and toggle Head/Body/Leg hits while keeping states on the aggressor. Stun and Dizzy are more important then you could imagine. Avoid spamming ANY attack especially one that's as strategic as SaberThrow....your timing is crucial with this.
I'm not asking for an argument, I've fought BH's but after I dropped Force Run I was constantly laggin behind the BH to kill them, I would KD, AB then do Power hit and he would be off running again.
I do like the suggestion to get clothing that has the Terrain Negotiation built in and I will be buying that parwan nutricake. (Burst run) LOL ..omg.. that is pretty lame of me I know!
Thanks for the input guys......
