Thread: Is this what jedi are becoming????

Jedi have almost always been, for the most part,a paranoid, and fanatical bunch.
The resaon for the behavior is simple, if you consider the gameplay they are subjected to for months of grinding, always looking over thier shoulder.
You'd be paranoid, distrusting, resentful, and downright psycho too.
Don't hate the players, hate the game, or at least the devs who designed this wacky system in the first place.

I was shopping for foods one night outside of theed, it was pretty late, bout 2-3am on a weeknight and out of the blue as i'm passing some houses I get a tell...
"Have you come for me?"
Didn't know who the person was and didn't really care. Figured they were Jedi and were sitting in their house when I passed by, I was a bit tired and frustrated because I had spent the previous 2 hours looking for foods i couldn't find, so I ignored him.
Couple of minutes later I get spammed with.
"LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL"
"LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL"
"LOLOLOLOLYOUSUCKLOLOLOLOL"
Umm, yeah, OK.
So I go back, about 1k meters now, and WP his house, and when I get back to kadaara for the night I hand off his name and house WP to another BH.. Four days later I get an email with a link in it. He was killed by the BH I gave the Info to.
I don't do a lot of Jedi hunting, honestly. I've hunted 1 or 2 Jedi that irritated me, but beyond that, I just don't mess with that part of the game too much because it doesn't interest me. (I'd rather be hunting for loot.) But this Jedi got wasted for basically being a silly ass. And I also decided that names need to go back on the terminals for this reason.

Ok I am BH...
I have killed around 70 jedi of which the majority were cool.
However today blew my mind.
I have been running NPC missions all weekend (my friend wants some cells for a LBC)
So I am at a shuttleport, and my girlfriend come home early.
I hit my duelest maco (the only repeating macro I have) like I always do if she comes home while I am playing (I always like to greet my girlfriend after she gets home, and see how her day was)
However, to my suprise, when I come back about 30 minutes later I have recieved 12 hate tells, 15 /duel /endduels( some from same players) and a city ban.
Now i understand that banningis part of the game... and the ban really does not bother me one bit.
However, I do believe it is sad that jedi will duel / endduel then give you the "who are you after tell" and when they get no responce (because I am not even at cpu) they send hate tells and give a city ban.... When you are not even hunting jedi
I mean realy has it come to the point where I cannot run a macro to keep from logging without getting hate tells and a ban?

(reply to blue)only if players like yourself keep posting this dribble on the forums.
and that also goes for jedi (or any profession) doing the same.

If you were in a player city of opposite faction, it might of had some Jedi grinding nearby. In early pre-cu days, we had this along with people standing watch telling us who was coming. Most of the time, anybody blue was a BH coming for us. Standard procedure was to ban all blue on sight and start determaining who the bounty was on. In some places, this kind of security may still be practiced, but obviously that was extreme.
Nowdays myself and others I am with don't worry, those who don't want to be hunted usually stay off the terminals.
