Thread: Accused of Speed macroing...

Okay this happened two times now to me. I am doing some pvp, I win and get called cheater or something else.
Aparently they see sometimes a hit every second and I have no clue how I should have done that. I am MLS with +26 speed tapes but I can't never hit that fast in pve. One thing to note is that it apears to happen most of the time in laggy areas. So could I have accidently triggered the cooldown bug, or can't you do that accidently only on purpose?
Advice is needed, it really gets old fast.

They'd get bored as hell doing that after a while, and then I'd be through with having conversations for the rest of my life."

Obviously you're not doing it on purpose, so why worry about it?

lag can cause weird effects - like you can seem to stand there then do 3 attacks at once.. also can appear differently on your svcreen to others screens (as you see them go slow and they see you go fast etc..) dont worry too much about it its just lag

It worries me because I got called it two times now. So I figured I might have triggered something accidently. If that is possible it's okay for me since I didn't do it on purpose. BUT if you can't do it accidently it has to be something else... Did that make sense?

As long as the ability to cheat is in-game, people will accuse you of doing it. If you are not cheating then do not worry about it. SOE has been aware of this issue for sometime now and have chose to do nothing about it. By them ignoring this issue, more and more people are using it to their advantage for attacks or heals. Therefore even the players that are not cheating are being accused of doing so.

Advice? Let it roll off your back.

9/10ths of the people out there have no clue that you attack faster simply by alternating your attacks, or that by measuring your cooldown groups you can make the most out of your weapon speed.

If you aren't cheating, you won't get in trouble, and honestly if you ARE cheating chances are you still won't get in trouble. So let the sore losers wallow in their own self loathing.

Just make a "/r I'm sorry, but I have to put you on my ignore list." macro. Bind it to a key and use it every time you meet an idiot....

Don't argue with idiots, they just drag you down to their lvl and beat you with experience!!
