Thread: XP is back, I'll bet that seals the deal Pearls will never drop prem/flawless again

People got their wish, they'll let you level a Jedi in 2-4 weeks.....but nothing says the devs have to give you flawless/prem pearls ever again. If the xp rate would have stayed the Jedi community would have been in a stronger position to ask for the pearls to drop (heck maybe even in a slight increase in power)......I'm afraid it looks like you better get used to hitting with that average saber.
Just thought I'd remind you of this fact, you may be able to level a completed template however without the pearls you'll always be fodder to the other Jedi and BH's.

pearldrops are bugged right now and thats why prem/flawless aren't dropping.
Let us not forget that this nerf affected everyone, not just jedi. And to be honest the only fair way to have done it was to rollback everyone that unlocked post-cu and make them do the grind again. Doesn't sound very cool does it?

Actually, pearls aren't bugged, it's intentionally not working, they only made Goods drop to shut you all up. Had XP stayed we coulda gotten our pearls back THEN whined to change XP.

I am still able to loot crystals and pearls that do around and over 100 damage.

Do you seriously think prem/flawless pearls not dropping is by mistake.....rofl.
I guess you also think this xp nerf in patch 22 was a mistake, if so I have a bridge to sell you if you're intrested lol.
Look I've said it before, I could care less if people grind Jedi out quick anymore as the profession lacks any real power it once had, it's only fair the grind become easier (which it has). Now yes I wish it was somewhat more of a challange but honestly I could care less. Just keep in mind in getting this change you forfeit the right to whine about Pearls IMO. A Perfect saber is still the biggest damage dealing weapon in the game, don't think for a second they are going to just give you these sabers. Like I said, the Jedi community would have been in a stronger position to ask for the pearls back if the grind was actually hard.
Just pointing out the obvious.

GG comprehending anything the Devs ever said. It isn't intentionally bugged. It was bugged accidently, and they are working on far larger bugs, like disappearing mobs, screwed up missions, and lag before they start something as trivial as pearl drops.
XP Change affected more than jedi. Christ, think outside your profession for more than ten seconds.

Yes, and what is the Force Cost and speed of these pearls?
If it wasn't a problem we wouldn't have half the forum flooded with pearl requests. Only reason why it's not filled right now is because the current crisis was xp.

hmm ever thought a temp fix to anger, but might lower xp slightly later?

It took me a week to Master Rifleman solo when the CURB came out, I didn't power grind either. I'm sorry if you really think the 100's of posters were non-Jedi, simple fact is 99% of the people complaining were Jedi or had Jedi.

Christ, we aren't talking about the CURB, we're talking about the new XP rates. At normal grinding (GRINDING! Not gaming, not interacting, not enjoying yourself) it'd take a new player about 5 week to get double master. You can't do anything in a post-CU SWG without level 80. All of the worthwhile content is designed for level 80's. The time it took you to master Rifleman before pub-22 is utterly incosequential.

Hahaha, you think that making the grind longer and such, they will give back the power/pearls? Yeah right, BS. The only reason why the grind would be longer is that they want to maintain the same power for current Jedi and such. This means no new flawless pearls coming anytime soon. Now, with the grind staying the same, it's just a matter of time before all crystals/pearl drops will only be of fair quality. Suggestion? Stock up!! Nerfs are coming, hehe. Glad I'm leaving this game now!!
