Uh huh, and so will exploiting right? Pfft. Puh-lease. Anyone that believes these GAME NDAs amount to anything more than j-walking is a mushroom. I could care less if SOE doesn't want me talking to people about it. The point is people do, and all this shock that people do that is hillarious. In case you didn't know there are tons of people walking around in game that have exploited tons of things, and never --ever-- had anything done to them. Breaking an NDA is about as worrisome as a cloudy day.
All depends on where you are. Some people live in a flood proned areas and dread rain.

It's true that no-one can be sure whether Saber Block will be nerfed [to 45% for MLS and only 85% at MFRS Master] or not until the product is actually released.
But, since that's the case, why does Garva keep deleting threads that discuss the subject? Another one has just 'disappeared'. I would have thought this was a viable subject for discussion by subscribers paying to play this game.

Rumor has it saber block will be nerfed and melee defences will go up.

Ah well at least there will be some chance of blocking 
I'm Jedi and don't mind about it even 0% wouldnt bother me

Excuse or not I think its the reason.
Anything referencing saber block nerf has a high chance of trolling and flames.
Considering that, I think this thread needs to go to Troll Alert- Elevated

Well to be honest I would prefer a (35% block + 55% resist all) applied to both ranged and melee instead of current system.

Those defences would be exceptionally low, compared with a Master Fencer or a TKM. Bear in mind that those two profession can also wear 90% armour too.

Those TKMs and Fencers are getting changes in the CURB too so it is invalid to compare how a Jedi with post CURB saber block reduction would compare to a post CURB fencer.

The only solid rumour - if a rumour can ever said to be solid - is that post CU Jedi Saber Block will be reduced to 35/45%. No such talk is emerging about Fencers or TKM defence reducation. While this doesn't mean there will be no such reduction, it is odd that while plenty of others news about the CU is leaking out, none touches on the defences of other professions,

Considering its a complete re-write of all professions I don't think melee will have uber defenses. They also have already stated that ranged is going to get a boost and melee is not going to be what it is today. I consider melee to be all of the fencers, swordsmen, TKM and pikeman but not Jedi - basically anything coming off of the brawler trees. See, this is why these threads turn into Sky is Falling threads because its all speculation with no known fact of whats happening with the other professions to balance it out.
