I prefer #5. Kinda like Dooku's saber (which is pure class), yet not a complete ripoff of his saber design.

Did you know that saber hilts are what make the blade of the saber thicker or thiner? The ones that have more of a darkside look to it are a thicker more "powerfull" look and the light side hilts like the one obi one had are thiner. That is the conclusion me and a friend made after looking at the blades of some sabers with the same color crystal in it.
If anyone could test it out a little better that would be great I haven't had time to make each one and try the same color crystal in them.

nah, Vader's hilt has a thin blade as well, and the thin ones look far better anyway

And btw, posts that beg for a sticky never gets one, and this one however doesn't contain any information that all Jedi can't see themselves by starting their crafting tool, hehe

The only time I notice a differenceis with the saber colors, try out a Light Purple (thick) and a Dark Purple (thin) same with Blue, Dark Blue, Light Green, Dark Greenetc.

Lol, I know, I wasn't really expecting it to be stickied.I just couldn't find the info anywhere else, so I figured I'd do it myself.

But in addition to what you said, if the Jedi just wanted to check out all the hilts and not actually make a saber, he first has to plug in all the resources and advance to the next crafting stage, losing all the resources he put into it.

yeah actually i think that's a game glitch(suprise?) that has to do with the scaling of the sprite/vertex whatever you want to call it, it has bugged me for a long time...i think the thicker blades look sloppy. but that's just me

Hey, can you put all those images into a collage so that you only have to click on 1 link and see them all next to each other?
It would be a little easier to compare

saber #1 and # 13 have the nicest blades plain and simple!
#2 for polearm has a better blade as well IMO.
Red or Blue crystals in them though. green, yellow and that always looks sloppy.
