Not unusual

To say that the GDKs drop in spurts is an understatement. They will go 15-20 deep with nothing, then start giving them away like one out of every two for about 2-3 hours. It is crazy like that, most creatures loot in a manner of streaks, but the GDK streaks seem to be more pronounced than others. I would say if they ain't dropping after 10 or so, give up for the night and try again tomorrow. Seriously.

Yeh, I gotta put this to the test, I am at 0-22 in 3 days. 22 GDK's and not a single scale...scary...

THe GDK spawn itself every few weeks has a period of 2-3 days where it will barely drop and GDK Scales i have encountered this a lot lately. SO if you do not get any scales after around 10-12 kills i suggest you wait a day or two and do some other stuff and then return to the spawn after that time. I myself have camped that spawn for countless house and made around 80mil or so Post CU just selling the scales at 200k per so I have come across many different streaks that they go through.
