Hi

I heard alot about soloing krayts and with this template, Mrifles Mbh pistoleer xxx4. FS melee def ranged def. I tried to solo some. The problem wasn't that i died all the time, the problem was that they retreated all the time. I thik i got to far away from them and i tried not to go to far from where i started to kill them at first.

Does anyone have any hints? Special attacks template changes etc? I've been thinking of getting another template but dont know what that wouold be any ideas?

thx

Yeah you just cant go too far away from its original spawn location or it will retreat. Justmove in a big circle instead of a straight line and that should do it.

If you have a root and a snare you should be good to go.A knockdown doesn't hurt either. They probably retreat because you pull them too far away. Try running them in a circle not too far from where they spawned. I do it as a master bh/master carbiner/ 0004 pistols and have no problems with even the Ancients. A combat droid acts as a good dot on em as well.

Stim Ds with Ruby Bliel (although they shouldnt be needed) with the right technique, you can solo a krayt and not get hit.

Another thing you can do, not necessarily considered brave or anything, but after you do enough damage, consider taking the krayt to a bantha lair, or dewback lair, let the krayt attack once, then do a KnockDown or Root, and all of the critters will attack the krayt helping you a lot. That being said, its dangerous, you could lose your kill if you didnt do more damage than the mob thats helping you.

Im MBH/Master Smuggler, all you have to do is root, shoot til it wears off, snare, run in a circle, Knockdown, keep running ina circle, about that time root should be good to go again. Looks funny 8-) when you see someone doing this, running around in circles, but it works just like everyone else said, thats the way to go.
