Thread: Pub23 Padawan Robe
and you don't get the robe till you pass the trials, so this is a non issue. and it takes no force to craft your training saber.

For an example
Master bio-enginer and Master dancer you have Cl 8
The different parts in padawan trials are somewhat random. I recieved my robe before i had to craft my saber. And besides that i think your forcepower cost is to low to craft your saber without wearing the robe. Atleast I got the message, not enough forcepower. I think it was on the part when i had to craft focusing crystals.
I did the Padawan trials at a CL of...REALLY LOW. I didn't kill any of the things I was suppose to, because I don't have the ability to do so. Luckily I had friends willing to come out and help me. I think I was CL 8 or something when I did the Malechite part of the trials. I'm CL 19 now, because I've been taking up Ranger, but I'm basically just a Tailor. So my CL is very very low. I don't see Jedi as a combat class, I'm not going to be happy if I can't still wear my robe if I drop my combat skills.
Yaaayhh
Finaly someone someone that saw the problem with this new CL requirement on padawan robe.
I rarely wear the robe because I don't want visibility, but occationally I do like to put it on, and go swing my lightsaber at nunas out in the middle of no where. Stuff I can kill at level less then 15. Sure it's going to take FOREVER to advance but that's not the issue. I want to still be able to wear my robe. It looks great for a Jedi wedding, and if I get visibility and have to die a few times...no big deal. No XP to lose anyways.

It's my understanding that wearing the robe doesn't give visibility, although equipping/unequipping around people or NPCs will give vis.
