I just lost my hard won agitator motor schematic - not to mention the two red wires and the copper battery (that seem to be getting more rare as time passes...) in a crafting session. I got a "no-player-owner" error message and then the crafting session ended with the loss of the components and the schematic. I submitted a /bug report. Is there a known issue? a workaround? What schematics does this happen too?

Yes, this is a known issue - the Agitator motor is currently bugged and has been since the release of Pub 13.1
Good that you've /bugged in game, but I would also submit a CSR ticket to get your lost schem and components back. Hopefully a kindly CSR will return them since it has been a confirmed bug they know about since a few hours after Pub 13.1's release.
Good luck with the ticket.

Are the remainder of the recyclers bugged as well, or is it just the one I need to start making the one I want?

All the recyclers and components are bugged.
Submit ticket to csr explaining events and times if you have them.
If they don't replace your items, submit another ticket kindly asking for their return. Took 2 tries for my wife's character.
You can try to use the workaround macro that someone posted on this forum, but with a 1 time only replacement by CSR, we're waiting for the fix to be published before reattempting to craft the items.

I submitted the /bug and csr ticket as you suggested. I have the components and the schematic back in my inventory today. Yay!
Part of the CSR responce to my ticket was "don't try to craft these items again until we fix this with a patch..." Get the word out!
Thanks to everyone including CSR for helping here.

My young apprentice...you have selected a task which requires the greatest concentration, skill and patience. In order tocontinue, you must (put aside / feed) your anger by taking the following path:
To create a customer service ticket:
1. Hit control H (or the help button on your ui).
2. select the customer service tab. (lower left corner)
3. select the knowledge base tab.
4. type in a word to search for that you know will generate a search hit (I use "wookie" and/or "jedi").
5. select an article, it doesn't matter which one.
6. Text will appear in the bottom window. Ignore it, scroll to the bottom. There should be a button there that says "just let me create a ticket." hit that button.
7. hit "new ticket"
8. follow instructions.
Sheesh you thought the path to Jedi was complicated...

i've lost one already (sent a ticket for it, no replacement tho)
i've looted another, so should i have "send ticket" window open already?

This bug has NOT yet been fixed. In the response to my ticket the CSR told me "please do not try to craft these items again until you have been notified that this bug has been fixed by a patch." I have not seen a notice of a bug fix accompanying the last several patches....
There IS a workaround listed on another thread which apparently for that guy saved his recycler from the recycle bin. (It entails using typed in " / " commands to force the crafting process to the end.) I haven't tried it and won't vouch for it. But if you get in a jam you might try it. I also note that his workaround was a few mini-patches ago... I am simply waiting; I hope they hurry, I have 10-12 different kinds of fiberplast that I have no use for that I would like to recycle.

I want to report that I can confirm the workaround for the recycler crafting bug which has been previously posted on these forums. I know they haven't fixed the bug, and I KNOW they said not to attempt the crafting, but my house is getting full of scraps so I went ahead after the patch today.
The workaround is:
Begin crafting the component or recycler normally, select components, and hit assemble.
STOP! DO NOT HIT THE OK BUTTON ON THE ERROR MESSAGE.
Hit the escape key on your keyboard (which will exit you from the error message).
use the text chat to send the following commands (familiar if you use craft macros)
/nextCraftingStage;
/nextCraftingStage;
/createPrototype;
/createPrototype;
(yes you do have to enter each one twice; yes the capitalization and punctuationis important) At this point the crafting session should end and the timer on your crafting tool may start counting down (For me it DID during component crafting and did NOT for the actual recyclers).
This may be old news for some of you but some folks like to hear that workarounds actually do function.
