Devs, Fellow players,
I've been playing SWG for a long time. I've had my complaints in the past, but I am truly seeing progression and attention to things that were previously overlooked. I'm excited about things to come.
1. Tuskan Items:
One thing I have wished for, now for a very long time is the ability to wear Tuskan masks, robes, and items on my human female character.
I've looked into it and it seems that only one character can wear the Tuskan mask, and that is Human Male. I would like to petition to the developers to look into a change here, as it seems to me that the Tuskan mask could fit anyone with a vaguely similar head shape and size, such as Human female and Zabrak male and female. The robes should fit human sized characters as well, being such a simple garment. As a human female I can't even wear the robe. This is such a common item and extending it's wearability would extend it's usefulness and potential as a fun costume option.
2. Options:
I've been RPing since I started playing here, and while I have to endure those who mock it, for the most part, I feel that my friends and I who RP, and do it publicly, in cantinas, in the streets, when making deals over the price of a dewback, I'm sure we add to the feel of the game and the magic of "being there" to those who might overhear.
One of the fantastic things about the Starwars films, is the costumes.Everyone sees them as inseparable with the characters. We've seen some really cool options show up on NPCs in the past, such as mandalorian armor and eventually it made it to the players.
I know I speak for a large percentage when I say that we'd like to see more "Costume" options in the game. I do not mean more clothing options like shirts and sneakers, but weird, interesting costume options. Ways to make our characters unique in some way. Not 50 TKArtists in the starport with san pan hats. Modular options that can be mixed and matched, like:
- Eyepatches, Left or right eye. Possibly a couple styles.
- Goggles, The round, strap on kind, with eye concealing lenses of customizable lenses.
- mechanical parts. (I've been RPing a lost arm since I began playing, with composite on one arm, but can't do it in combat because of the armor bug *3 X damage*)
- Mechano parts for the leg, hand, arm.
- Various styles and coloring options. Choice between flashy/new and scavenged/worn looking.
- Masks.
- I think many of us would enjoy a variety of masks for so many uses, like parties, disguises, a signature look.
- With the removal of the Mind Bar / Head-Shot Spamming, a player could wear a mask instead of a helmet and not call the cloning center his/her home away from home.
- Disguise Kits:
- Smuggler crafted, and useable once within a certain period of time. A new name, randomly generated, and a new look, based on race. Reverting when the disguise expires.
- Jedi (some Jedi) deserve a chance to evade bounty hunters with these. It fits with the timeframe, and honestly, the bounty hunter droids have no chance of failing. The option for Jedi to be cunning is valid I feel.
- Offer bounty hunter options for players besides Jedi, and the disguise becomes multi useful.
I'm just touching the surface here but, I know that just a few of these options would be cause for celebration. I would also hope that perhaps Image Designers might have something to do with their crafting. It seems to me that Image Designers have some of the fewest option in SWG, and combined with Doctors would be the perfectchoice to make mechano limbs, as well as masks, which is a purely artistic endeavor.
I know the developers are working hard on cool things and I hope they'll take these ideas into consideration. I welcome additions to this wish list, but please keep it constructive and in the vein of non-armor/combat ideas.

nice ideas. this probably belongs more on the Core Systems forums (found at the top of the list on the professions directory ) than this one....but you probably get better visibility here. i do recommend copying this over there as well.
i like the ideas of giving more content to guys like smugglers and image designers. we're seeing more and more cross relations between crafters where the finished goods from one profession needs components from another profession so guys like artisans can be thrown into the mix.
another idea to toss up would be to give entertainers (like dancers and musicians) the ability to record onto disks. these disks can then bepurchasedand used in the field to heal bf and gain a mind buff when in a camp. perhaps the item to record tocould be recording rods made from broken ones ala the repair kits like the ones we have now. they'd be one time use of course.

i liek the disguise options - a randomly generated name would be better, to stop people being imposters of other people.

Oh About copying the post, it seems there is no "main" core systems any longer, so, ... i may copy it into another section, not sure where, but I do hope others have thoughts on this and it get recognized in some way here. Thanks forthe feedback.

I don't see why female tusken gear isn't in the game. It was introduced in Attack of the Clones, why not make NPC's wear it and have it lootable just like male tusken gear?
Perhaps a new quest can be introduced when Viktor (sp?) is in office in Bestine. Something along the lines of he knows where a remote tusken settlement can be found, and attacking it should prevent further attacks on Bestine. Then have a tusken village randomly spawn, just like the one in AOTC, and have the reward or rewards be female tusken gear. A variation on the theme could be a rescue mission, similiar to Anakin saving Shmi, with the same reward.

good ideas... my suggestion for the masks is to have an armor and clothing versions so noone is left out... a armor version that would allow new masks that provide protection basically just fancy helmets ... and the clothing version that has no encumbrance

Not sure about an armored version of masks. I think armor is getting it's due and the non-armored needs to shine a bit. Give a good reason to not wear armor.
Addition:
I think that everyone into the look of StarWars would like to see hooded robes wearable over the jedi outfit (bants/boots/tunic/katiginu) set.
