Thread: Best spot to loot food experimentation CA's?

Subject says it all...I don't feel like paying millions upon millions in my quest to become a 12 point chef, and I love looting so give me the best spots.

Yes good question, it took me over 10 million to get 11pt and that left me with zip for get what i needed to craft. Im tired of being ripped off.

This game is so unfair to most. Very sad when we all have to pay to play it.

Skill tapes are completely random, there is no npc in the game that will drop only experimentation tapes. The best places to actually loot tapes would be from either Nyax, Aakuan champions, and Nightsisters. Personally I have never looted a single skill tape off NS, but people on this forum said they have, so who am I to argue with them. Sadly Nyax and the aakuans are usually camped considering they are POI's and people know exactly where to find them. What SOE should have done was made the Nightsister Elder the best way to find an SEA, considering they can be found roaming all over on dath and is a much more superior foe in comparison to Nyax. Yes there are POI's with Elders on Dath, but they also spawn randomly on the planet, meaning no waiting in line with the campers to get a piece of the elder loot. Trouble is the loot table on the Elders right now is complete crap! 9 out of 10 kills you will find useless items and in no way reflect the trouble you went through to loot it off their corpse.

stick to low-level NS or SMC on dath. i looted a +9 polearm speed CA off an initiate. also, marauders on endor yield me an average of 3 attachments per buff session.

never got a CA or AA from anyone in the DWB.
Dark Adepts on dant drop great SEA's too. out of 7 kills I recieved 3 Attachments..all +10 or better.

Lord Nyax- has some of the best and most frequent CA drops in the game. Problem is since they changed the spawn rate (he now spawns every 20 min or so) this place is pretty much camped 24/7 by speed-capped master riflemen, so you'll have to bring your own or change your template to have any chance at loot---- good luck!!
