How much does a +5 CA for Armour Assembly go for? I am just curious since I looted one...

Also I have killed 100's of NS and 50+ NS Spellweavers and haven't gotten a single clothing or armour attachment... Please tell me that is not normal?

I appreciate this isn't a trade board.... but it is an Items and Loot board. I am not interested in selling this CA.... I posted it on the trade forum and got one reply that said between 3 to 7 mil. However, that person could have been just pulling my leg... I figured I would check with people on this forum, silly me.I am considering holding on to it since I have done all the combat professions and now am contemplating trying armoursmith or Weaponsmith... If I do decide to do the grind I am wondering if this is worth holding on too or just picking one up if I go the Armoursmith route.

I also am asking if my experiences with NS is typical.... Gotten plenty of Lances, Crystals, Leathers, and clasps..... just no CA's or AA's.

I'm curious as well about the assembly CA . I do know the experimentation CA's go for good money!

yes, that person was pulling your leg, you might be able to get around 500k for it, but the server is a key factor.

For the NS question, yes they do drop CA's and AA's, and it is normal to kill literally 100's before you find one. But just remember when they do, it usually is a high number. I've looted several attachments from Elders, all of them have been 20+, and are usually +25. The only other NS I've looted one off is stalkers, found a +10 weapon experimentation CA off one a month or two ago. But yes, don't expect them to drop like mad, it can take a long time to find them.

If your looking for a bit higher then +5 drops, and don't want to mess with NS, Sith Npcs tend to drop some pretty decent ones if you can stand to delete 100's of sith resources. During phase 3 I drop everything and drive around known base locations and kill sith, usually not hard to find spawns anywhere from 100-500m near the bases. They also tend to drop some decent dot ranged weapons also. These can get tough but I've been able to take on 3-4 Thugs at a time as a Master Swords/Master Brawler/Novice doc, speedcapped of course,they are pretty tough, but I've found up to +12 from Thugs and +8 from either the pirates or outlaws.

I'm convinced that SEA drops have been nerfed from Elders and NS. I used to get a CA/AA every at least 5 elders back months ago, or a modded piece of clothing, now I've killed over 100 in the past month (way over 100) and havent seen a single attatchment or modded piece of clothing, chances are the drops were rotated onto some other NPC on Dathomir.

Such as Dark Jedi Masters, they're dropping +25 SEAs like crazy, and ive been told the sith thug NPCs on Dathomir are dropping them aswell.

I appreciate the info on both questions....It sounds like siths thugs and Dark Jedi Masters are the ticket...

That Armor Assembly attachment could be worth quite a bit depending on the server. Look on the trade board for your galaxy and see what other assembly tapes are going for or what they have went for in the past. This is one of the better ones that you could have gotten. Weapon assembly is another good one. I just sold a +6 armor assemlby on Shadowfire for 4 mill. Before you sell it to cheap you need to ask around some more.
