Thread: anti decay kits bugged on intrepid?

hey
first, im no noob. ive been reading the forums and theyve given me every answer ive neded since day one of the game.so dont give me any garbage about low posts.
i tried to find a thread about anti dcay kits, and it seems to me they are meant to keep an items' integrity unchanged despite use. is this incorrect, or is it merely meant to keep it from decaying upon death? i was probably duped into buying an anti decay enhanced PSG which ran out of condotion after my first fight. as such, i havent used my own ADK yet. Did I get taken, or was i under an incorrect assumption about the ADK's purpose?
sorry for bein a jerk in the opening line but i find the lack of respect for someone simply because they ahvent made 90,000 posts damn silly.

the adk is meant to stop any decay whatsoever. So like you said if it truly is decaying then it's not adk'd.

I thought the kits did not work on psg's?????
If they will me need to get one more......my precious........must have.
/shakeshead no i do not think they work .
read the item does it say it has a dk? if so ...becareful and destroy the kit and save the adk for your chestplate or weapon

so as i said, im worried to use my own on something because of this--when you use it, the item gets a flag saying its been treated for decay or somesuch?

ADK's do work on PSGs. When you use an ADK on an item it will say in the description that it has been modified and won't decay. It has a specific message in the examine field for the item.

Yes when you examine the item there will be a message that the item has been adk'd. And not to mislead other people, ADK's do work on PSG's. There currently is a bug on adk'd and non adk'd psg's where they will stop working after shuttling... to solve this simply unequip your psg and equip it again.

i knew about the traveling bug, thanks for all the info!!! i guess i better double check that psg and maybe file a complaint

you mean they were built with the intention of later having the adk placed upon them? now it makes sense. still dont see a psg specially prepared for adk or not costing 200,000. economy is kinda out of hand.

I'm on your server and I know exactly what your talking about. First of all the PSGs you speak of have all around good stats, 41% Energy, 47% Base. When you slice them you can get the base up to 68% Second, apply an ADK and voila! you have extra protection that will never end! Atleast that is until the devs nerf it. Third these PSGs sell for about 25K a piece and if you buy a crate of 10 they are about 250k. Lastly, the ADKs on our server our not bugged. If you thought you were buying a PSG with ADK attached for that price you were sadly mistaken. The PSG alones sell for that price and the ADKs sell for 10M to 20M. I think the psg you bought was an anti-decacay optimized psg that I have seen around on intrepid, I'm guessing the armorsmiths made ones with high resists and low condition or somthing. As long as it didnt cost 20 million, which is what adk cost, they didnt really dupe you.
