Some of the paintings/posters they pop out are regular and some are unique to the device. For example the vidscreen kit can produce a few of the common paintings but also has a chance to generate the correlia skyscraper blueprint, DNA double helix and the droids in contrast as well. so its sort of pot luck really.

you need to put all the parts in in one session dont use it to store the stuff like a junk dealer loot kit the printers seem to forget whats been put in them...also you need the tan veiwscreens for the "picture printer" and the grey veiwscreen for the "technical reader"

Yes, whatever you do don't put the items inside unless you have them all. I put some of the items in, but not all and the items I put in just disappeared.

I haven't had any problems with these either.
I have. Just tried one and it didn't do anything. Put all the components in in one session, etc., and nothing.

The parts need to be added in a specific order to get a painting - had the same issue and it pi--ed me off to no end until I figured it out.
For the picure printer it is : paint cartridge, dispersal unit, blank canvas, then viewscreen (I think - if not, the first two are reversed - I'm at work and the Dew hasn't kicked in yet). The kit will then autocombine, poof, and you will get a painting.
So far, I have seen the Bio-engineer, Droid in Contrast, and Double Helix from the pic printer. BE seems to be the most common, followed by double helix, then Droid. This was out of approx. 20 combines.

you need no speacial order all that needs to be done is this:
- you need a grey view screen for the view screen printer (one that looks like moun)
- you need a tan view screen for the picture printure (grey and black)
- you need to put all the parts in at once so if soem are in already you need to take them out then put the 4 parts needed for the picture printer and the 5 parts needed for the view screen printer in back to back
its as simple as that
