Some friends and I took one out on Endor and looted a damage crystal (quality yet to be determined). It was the one and only we killed...

Could be like SBDs, they're tough, but never drop anything worth looting (or anything i know of period). Same as the jedi sentinels gaurding the enclaves,takes too many resources (time, armor, weapons, stims, etc..) and sometimes end up looting nothing at all. Those kind of hard mobs in the game w/ no other purpose other than to "piss you off."

Not only are the nova troopers not dropping loot, but the dark troopers on naboo at the weapon facility stopped dropping anything in the past month or so... You will be lucky to find a leia poster there, when we used to be able to find 4 holos from clearing the dungeon.

Ok I have killed at least 10 of the 225K heavy armor Stormtroopers strolling around in random spawns mainly on Endor that I have seen.
They havent dropped 1 credit or any loot at all.
Has anyone gotten anything from them, or is this SOEs way of ramping up loot?
Cause if they want to improve loot, put it on a 225K ham heavy armor NPC now.

I've heard from quite a few rebs the loot is thin from Imp npc's nowa days....Sounds good to me lol.
I took my one of my toons reb just to see what new loots were around (some time ago) and I couldnt believe the amount of stuff I got.
Of course, I'm Imperial at heart...So this is good! lol
