Alright come on, this is one of the most basic and great ideas ever. SHOPS. NPC shops, where u can sell any item to, or buy different items based on planet/city/faction. There should be faction item shops too. Look at FFXI, great idea, terrible gameplay. They had good shops though. Say a weapon shop that sells ranged weapons would buy ranged weapons, etc. Please implement this, given it is a good idea. Alright people plz reply with your ideas about this

well they do have the junk dealers. albeit a little usless. i would like to see the junk dealers expanded upon. say i can trade in 20 broken datapads for 1 unit of whatever.. lake say 100 datapads for a blue rug adhesive! and so on.. i think items like weapons and armor should be left to player vendors not NPC. but it woulbe a nicer interface for the faction dudes and junk dealers to have vendor like setups rather then the radial menu..

You realize that's the complete opposite of a player-run economy, right? The player-based vendors and crafters is one of the great things about SWG, in my opinion.

I agree completly, I like the fact that theres no NPC shops/vendors, If there was, it would turn out like Diablo 2 (for you Blizzard fanz- you should know what im talking about) Shops were useless, as was cash, that games economy was soley based on item trading. It was horrible...

I actually like fact that if you want to sell something you need to find a PC to buy it, same goes for buying.
I was surprised when I found out that NPC shipwrights will buy ship parts and a little disappointed.
