Ok, in the discription for the anti-decay kit it says all your have to do is go to the radial menu and remove item. Does this destroy the item? Can you reapply the anti-decay on another item? Has anyone tried this?

To use the kit you drag the item into the kit, once inside you use the radial menu to either apply the kit to the item or remove the item from the kit, once applied it cannot be removed.

What about the thing where tiggs said delete the item to get the anti-decay kit back?

I have read it is removable.BUT to remove the non decay kit you have to destroy the item it is on then the kit will appear back in your inventory.

Naw, he said delete the item that it is on. He didn't say delete the saber.

1) Tiggs is a she. She's been known to pounce people confused about her gender.

2) The post was referring to ways to get the decay kit back if you used it on an item other than a saber. It's unknown at this time if the "destroy item to get kit back" will be around forever, or if it's a temporary thing until any possible bugs are worked out.

3) The kit doesn't currently work with sabers, but it will. When used on a saber hilt, it will protect all crystals/pearls inside of it from decay. Crystals/Pearls will still be able to be swapped in and out. Check the Devtracker for Tiggs's and Cal's posts in the Jedi forum about it.

sabers dont decay as it is, the crystals do. so unless it protects the crystals as well, its kinda pointless.

Think it is critical that we be told this for sure. I've searched for official notice of this significant detail of this very important reward, but found no solid answer.

I'd certainly like to see it removable. I think destruction of the item it's on is a reasonable trade-off, much like augments in EQ. But I sure wouldn't want to destroy the item, only to find out I don't get the kit back.

See if you can get a csr to log and watch you do the transaction. He/she should be able to restore an item for you. It would be nice to know when they release crap exactly how something works directly through the game interface. You shouldn't have to "look" for answers outside the game help interface. It's a sign of poor implimentation.
