Thread: I appreciate the hotpants, but seriously...

Intrepid Server == While leveling my Jedi/Rifleman on Endor last night, I must have easily killed over 50 randomly-spawned marauders. Of those, maybe 10 had stuff on them. Out of those, nobody had anything to write home about. I looted some dispersal mechanisms, a few crap SG-whatever rifles, a vest, some Rebel orders, and some hotpants.
Hotpants? Come on! Since when do high-level mobs drop hotpants? As awesome as they are, I long for the days where marauders would drop quality loot. The Caves aren't even worth my bike repair cost to go out there anymore. And, since Nyax is being AFK-camped 24/7 on Intrepid, we're hard pressed to find good CA's and AA's anywhere.
Anyone else been experiencing this? Also, I heard something about fixing or tweaking AFK attacking. What's that all about? I think it'd be great! I know the Devs don't frequent this forum, so some discussion from you all would be appreciated. Thanks!

thats a high level mob? come back when u loot hawtpants off a krayt..then it'd be weird..lol

I agree - I'd pay big bucks for Krayt-sized hotpants. Marauders, while not the most difficult NPC's in the game (NS's have that locked down), should still drop better-than-hotpants loot like they used to. I thought the already implemented 'loot revamp' was supposed to tweak loot drops and make them relative to their mobs. I guess this isn't the way it is because I still get Rebel Transmissions from Nightsisters...
Oh well.

JediBadall, I would respecfully disagree. Our hunting party ran into an NPC Dark Jedi MASTER on dantooine the other night....wiped half of us out before we knew what hit us...and we hardly put a scratch on him. Beware of these guys!

I looted some carbine speed+ 9 hotpants off of marauders a few weeks ago. That was a fun (and actually profitable)loot...I laughed for about a half hour because I knew somewhere a bounty hunter was going to go after a jedi while wearing them

lmao !! thank you, I needed a laugh.. on a related note that afk combat nerf is in effect.. type in /afk and then try to attack something.. or even have something attack you.. no action on your part while afk anymore.. well that's not true, you can stand there and heal yourself etc.. just can't cause damage while afk ( solution, get some ch.. buy a nice be pet and tell it to guard 
) I know it won't grind your combat skills but you can still be stocking up on all the party posters and broken viewscreens in the world *eyeroll*

I looted 2 multi-pocket bandoliers in a row off elders yesterday. Sometimes you eat the bar, and sometimes brother, well the bar, it eats you.
