Thread: NS Loot Still Messed Up Post 3/1 Patch

Just spent 3 hours killing NS, mostly Protectors, Spellweavers and Sentinals. The loot drops are still drastically lower than they were pre 13.1 and the loot that is droping is not anywhere near decent. In 3 hours and over 150kills, I looted a bunch of HD Leather, about 10-15 usless pikes, 1 set of HD Clasps, 2 Rebel transmissions, a locked container, and a warm hat. The only decent thing I looted was a good Action Fire Pike, everything else got deleted. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

100% correct...one full Buffduration andonly crap Loot from NS and SMC... where the heck can we loot good Crystalls now ???... Nowhere it looks like...

Like I stated in a previous post, Nyax is AFK-camped on Intrepid and it's driving people nuts. On top of that, Aa'kuan and Marauder loot is jacked - Every time I go out to a cave, hoping for some quality CA's or AA's, I return empty handed.
These mobs (Aa'kuans maybe an exception here) are a decent fight for a lot of people and I think, A) Marauders loot should be back to the way it was so more people can have a chance at looting something good (they randomly spawn, unlike Nyax) and B) Nightsisters should drop CA's and AA's as well as other QUALITY loot. Let's be serious here, they're probably the hardest NPC mobs in the game and should be dropping better stuff, like the 'loot revamp' stated.

Krayts still aren't dropping pearls, Elders still aren't dropping crystals. What a bore.

I have always agreed with the maxim that this game should not rely on loot for a player economy, as we have crafters who should be providing 90% of our items.
But the current looting system is borked beyond belief. The mobs which "should" provide high end loot, don't. And the static, easy to AFK mobs provide ALL the current high level, and thus high cash, loot. It's a sad story indeed when you can't PVP or compete in PVE because the guy next to you left his PC on for 24 hours so he could AFK a load of tapes, sell for a ludicrous profit, and max out +25 speed and accuracy on a rifle suit, with a 1200 damage T21

At least you have elders on your server. Apart from the ones being camped 24/7 in the POI, I haven't seen one on Farstar for weeks...

That is wrong. Elders are everywhere but just arent dropping anything. I killed 18 with two friends over the weekend and none of the elders dropped. Only protectors are dropping broken aa and ca's.

And on top off this all they getting stronger most of the time they pull out a stunbaton

Without good loot to aquire whats the point of buying armor and weapons except to pvp and not many people want to pvp with dots and jedi gank squads running around.

I don't know if the devs are just starting to not care about this game or what. I mean Nightsisters have always been a big part of this game, and the drops have been totally messed up since 13.1. Nightsisters and Krayts loots are screwed right now and have been that way for a few days and they haven't really said all that much except that krayts are dropping pearls again, yet there hasn't been one confirmed drop on the forum, and the same for crystals from NS.
