Hello, I was wondering if DarkTroopers ever drop loot or is it currently broken? I just got to the level with my reb character to be able to fight and win against a DT, and I notice they dont seem to drop loot. I can loot one, and it will say "nothing of value on the corpse" and the body stays on the ground. Any time I loot other corpses, the body dissapears. The fact that DT corpses dont disappear when you try to loot them has me wondering if its supposed to be giving loot. Or are they in fact like all other droid corpses, and just stay on the ground for a while like creatures, and give no loot. Just wondering, as I see people claiming to loot holocrons and paintings from them, yetI have killed over 30 of them and never even gotten credits, much less an item.

they drop holocrons and other usefull items as well as some junk now and then. for the holo's just keep at it and one will drop

Ok, thanks for the reply. So the body staying on the ground, and not giving credits is normal for DT's then I take it?

Yes, they drop a lot of loot, good one and crap, too.
The place where I am grinding faction is full of dark troopers, and after 3 hours I usually stand with 5 to 16 holocrons (and yes, on Ahazi prices for holos went down by about 250k over the last 3 weeks
), about 10 Leia wanted posters (if I havent destroyed them to make space for holos) and a couple of low-level DoT weapons. Also I looted a +7 rifle speed AA, a +7 polearm speed AA and a +7 Def. vs. Stun AA from the same dark troopers.
Generally, every corpse will give you some time to loot it. After you looted it successfully, it will disappear. If you cant loot it because there are no items in it, the corpse will stay since there hasnt been a successfull looting attempt.

Are commandants the rebel equivalent to the DT? Cause that would be unfair to us Imps if you get all the good loot

You get good faction pets, we get good loot
Sorry, I have no idea what the rebel equivalent to Dark Troopers is, I cant loot rebels.

Try surface marshalls, they are the rebs I kill to get holos and the occasional Radar screen schematic, thatsells for an insane amount of money.

Ooo a radar screen schematic. Haven't even heard of that. Are those the clear radar terminal screens you can get as a vet reward?
