Ive been hunting down peices to the datapad ever since the loot was made avialable in game. Currently I have the datapad housing with the datapad battery, datapad backlight, datapad connectors, and a broken datapad sitting in the datapad housing. There is room for one more item to be placed inside the housing, but the housing itself does not ask for anything more specific then the battery, backlight, connecters, and a broken datapad. Any help with what im missing would be great!

The parts you need are:
- Datapad Housing
- Datapad Backlight
- Datapad Connectors
- Datapad Batteries
- Broken Datapad
When you take all those pieces and put them in a datapad housing, you should get a Datapad (Empty) at which point you put a working datadisk in it. Now, here's the problem. On some of the loot kits (datadisk repair kit, picture printers, etc.) it wouldn't tell you what all had been put in the kit and if you logged out without completing the kit it "ate" all those components and you had to start over. I don't recall if the datapad worked that way or not.

Yeah dont put in the items, then logout and expect the items you put in to still be there. Stupid loot thingy, wasted too many credits until I gave up on it.

apparently for it to work you have to complete a datadisk reapir kit and drop that in the empty datapad..then you get to read a story...
