Well i wasn't expecting much loot maybe one crystal today off of elders but after the 4th one i killed it was a bit strange. What did i loot? Not crystals, not clothes, but pikes. Out of the 4 elders i killed today i looted 4 pikes. 1 ns lance with a nice mind dot but bad potency, 1 lva with 400ish max, 1 lva with 300 max, and 1 standard ns lance. Granted i didn't expect much but to loot 4 pikes in a row is just strange. Anyone have a similar patterns, or was i just incredibly unlucky with my drops today?

True...i guess....But i did get to try my new+12 2handed speed shirt out which was nice.

BTW..aren't you the same McRibs that posted this a day or two ago? Hehe... You wanted more lances then, now you want more crystals?! hehehe

Well, i guess i have plenty now, and a lot less money...but the fact is that shear number of pikes looted in aserieswas like that. Anyone go elder hunting today or ns hunting in general? I'm just curious as to whether or not crystals/ca's/aa's/ decent pikes are dropping at all.

Like I tell everyone, it is all random. For example I just looted 4 unmodded lva's in a row off elders, next one after that was a crystal. That was the first crystal drop today for me, and she was #23 of the day.

I'm just making sure that loot isn't screwed up....but it's good to hear that you got something besides a pike today.

I know what you mean, some days I feel like it might be screwed up , then I find something that makes me think otherwise. All I can say is, if you kill them regularly, it pays off. Sure it might suck to kill 30-40 in a row with nothing good looted at all, but just remember they ARE dropping attachments, crystals, and goodpikes. I can confirm this twice over since the latest patch. So don't keep your hopes down

In my mind, there is only one reason to hunt elders over krayts: They are much more challenging and fun. Other than that, stick to krayts.
