You can, however, pick up a blue rug adhesive by doing a quest for a protocol droid outside one of the hotels in Moenia (near the bank)- he's standing between two crafting stations, IIRC. Fairly easy quest.

adhesives must worth between 150k and 500k, no more, other price is an smugglers' assalt. Adhesives drop almost all npcs lvl between 40 and 70, it's difficult say one, perhaps stormstroopers. Last adhesive i looted from a force crystal hunter one month ago.

for the blue adhesive there is a quest that starts in moenia, there is a red protocol droid i front of 1 of the guild halls (there are 3 in the city).. tha quest is an easy one that will take you to tyrena and then to talus IO, u have to rescue a guy at 300meters away from the IO from 9 lvl19-21 Black Suns.. as a reward u get the blue adhesive... too bad is the blue dye want is really on shortage. I got no information about orange adhesive and if anyone knows plz mark this post. Ty.

for 1 rug u 1st need the device that can be acquired in any Junk Dealer who wants to get rid of stuff (i think u cant ask for the device twice to the same guy), anyway, u need:

7 Orange/Blue Sections - all named as "one, two, .... seven"

1 Orange/Blue Patches

1 Orange/Blue adhesive... i dont know how to get the orange adhesive... blue is via quest

1 Orange/Blue Dye... i dont know how to get blue dye... well.. also i got no idea were to loot the orange... but blue is more valuable.

All u have to do is drop each piece on top of the device and voila!... an autoloomed rug!

Must the pieces prices vary depending on the seller but most of them are somewhat inexpensive (i bought at 150 creds for a section to 50k creds the blue dye... yes i was lucky on that one).

Blue rugs are nicer but more difficult to get and i use 2 orange rugs to replace the need of the Ornate rug... Sean TRendell is the biggest loser in politics i seen... and even if he wins u get 50/50 chances to get a statue.

Most of what is said about the adhesive is true, but the selling price. If you have noticed, at least on my server, blue and orange rug adhesives suddenly become rare and harder to find. Im doing vendor searches 30 times a day, looking for great deals, and over the past few weeks, their price has gone up well over 500k. The prices i see now on vendors are 750k and mostly the rest at 1-1.5million.

Either they are harder now to loot, or there are just less people selling them now.

its a device that the dealer whats to get rid off... looks like a tool box when is in your inventory... u just ask him what kind of items he whats to give ya.

is their a particular place/npc that drops the threads? I see a lot of those, while the others are seem to be in lesser quantities.
