What are they used for, what are they worth?

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114

they're looted from myyydril cavern brain bugs i think... and i guess can be used as deco or sold to the wookie junk dealers for a couple of hundred creds

They are a magic 8 ball. you basically select "Use" from the radial menu, and it gives youa yes, no, or maybe answer with a Star Wars slant.

These used to be lootable from a pile of trash, but that was "fixed" about a year ago. Now it is incredibly rare to come across these. I used to have a dozen stored on someone else's vendor for safe keeping. I had planned to sell them and make a lot of credits, or use them in rare item trades. Then the guy decided to take a 3 week unnanounced leave of absence, and his vendor blew up. Now I am left with just the 2 Eyes I have in my display.

Go to Tatooine and beat up on some of Jabba's guys. They're the most common ones to drop these. Comming being a relative term though...

Killing commoners is alot easier. I got a few of these along with a few palm fronds waiting around at Kimo town. I slaughtered all of them and the respawn instantly so it shouldn't take to long to get one.
