Thread: Whats the deal with pearls right now?

Now that the loot system has changed and only Giants and Ancients drop them does this mean Gaints can now drop quality and premium pearls? The reason I ask this was before you didnt need to get the pearsl Id'd if you got them off a gaint because they were always premium. Has this changed or what is the new system like?

Hmm. Don't think it changed much. We went hunting the other day and got a total of 12 pearls, all of them came from giants, canyons, and even one from a juvie.


Other day = Saturday, March 12th.

i could have sword i read a post saying the Ancients and Krayts only drop pearls. Perhaps they mean they don't drop tissue anymore?
