Thread: Locked Container after Loot Revamp?

Hello,
i have a quick question: Where can i loot locked Containers on a regular basis? Before Loot-Revamp allmost all low level NPCs at static spawns dropped them. So after 3 hrs i could skill my smuggler without any problems. Now i only loot those new items introduced with Loot Revamp. How do i get those 20 or more locked containers now or where cani loot them?

I don't know your server, fair warning, or your faction, but I was burning Rebels in a Rebel-controlled POI last night (getting myself up in Commando skill as well as up to Master Sergeant), and got several of them. Whether this means faction NPC's are dropping containers on all servers, I couldn't tell you, but the high-level ones on Sunrunner in that spot seem to be. Something you could check out, anyway.

luckily i have another alt who can beat them. But before this patch low level NPCs dropped them fairly often with no risk at all. Now they do dropp like hell but only those new items. Neither Disks or Treasure Maps or something like that 
Since i need 60 or more containers to avoid Terminal slicing a few hrs static spawn camping was enough to get them. Now it seems impossible or the Devs took locked containers to other static spawns or NPCs and thats what i search for.

Know whatcha mean, I got enough parts (almost, did have to buy dyes) for two blue rugs and an orange rug, not to mention a stockpile of locked containers for when/if I try smuggler, and tons of Naboo sculpture parts and other such items off of meatlumps. Plus enough drugs I felt like a pusher tossing them all on the bazaar, even got a few Neutron Pixies that way. Now if you're lucky they drop broken viewscreens. Heck, I can't even seem to find anything that's dropping loot kit parts now. I'm beginning to think the 'loot revamp' broke more than it fixed.

Well I have looted 2 Locked containers from them in the last couple of weeks......

So that means that smugglers get a kick in the back again? 
A smuggler without something else in petto won´t get those locked containers from high level NPCs. Meatlumps and Raktak Toons or what ever the name was do not dropp them anymore. Sure they do not dropp junk weapons anymore. Hurray But they do dropp other Junk.

Sure they do not dropp junk weapons anymore. Hurray But they do dropp other Junk. So any Static Spawn on Rori, Corellia and Naboo are a waste of time? That´s what i read so far? I have to check out Talus. These Faction Bases and POIs do have a large number of Soldiers running around. Maybe after 20K Faction Points i have enough locked containers for my smuggler in spe. Bad enough that i have Clamps and Knifes and such things. But where do i get at least 20 locked containers without wasting Buffs and Armor only to slain poor Soldiers, even Rebel ones?
