Thread: Anyone ever gotten an SEA that looks like a saber crystal?

Got this 2 nights ago, it looks like a saber crystal but is a skill enhancing attachment. Has crappy stats and wont drop on any armor or clothing. Is this just crap drop?

Those have been dropping since launch, unfortunately not useful at all except as an interesting display piece.

i have one with 25 engine experimentation.
csrs use to convert them to clothing attachments, but i was turned down on my request.

Oh, I bought one on the Radiant forums a few weeks ago fora few millionthat had stats I wanted. I have it in storage waiting to get a complete set of CA's to put in clothes. I had asked the seller about it before I bought it, since the auction was listed as "skill enhancement" I asked whether it was a CA or AA, and he told me it looked like a crystal but should still work on either since the mods were listed. I bought it anyway, and now I wonder if it's usless after reading this. I will have to try it now on an article of clothing, and see if it's no good. If so maybe the guy will give me my money back, one can hope. Since crystals are not a craftable item, I know he wouldn't have made it to rip me off, but if it's no good I should get a refund. CSR's should remove stuff like this from the game if it's not going to work, and be so questionable.

Well I tried to use it last night, and it's garbage! It had Unarmed Accuracy 8, and Unarmed Speed 14, so it was something I really wanted. I had put it in storage waiting to collect more CA's to use. After this alert I tried it. Didn't go in clothing or armor!! SOE should take things like this out of the game so people are not enticed to spend millions on something that doesn't work.I added the seller to my friends list to try to talk to him about a refund, and he hasn't logged in and hasn't been on the forums since the item was sold to me.
